Hexham Racecourse Caravan Site

Ik was blij met Lovely scenic spot, good facilities, plenty of space. Friendly and helpful check in with good advice about getting into town and back. It is a fair walk down the hill to town (2 miles) but we got a taxi back from the cab rank in the high street which was easy to get and only a few pounds. Walking back up the hill would be a struggle unless you are exceptionally fit. I would definitely stay again.

Ik was niet blij met Relocate the town half way up the hill.
I'm joking obviously.

I wouldn't change anything about the site.

Ik was blij met Wonderful setting with interesting long-distance panoramic views. Campervan pitches are right next to the racetrack so you see all the interesting fairway maintainable going on.
Facilities clean and modern. Nice indoor washing up sink and laundry with plenty of hot water.
Short drive into Hexham, lots to see.

Ik was niet blij met There was a bit of temperature fluctuation with the showers, seemingly relating to the push button system, but otherwise excellent facilities.

Ik was blij met Beautiful views all around but you are very high up. Very peaceful site and kept lovely.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing to do with the site but it is a very narrow road to get there once leaving Hexham town centre.

Ik was blij met Modern and immaculately clean facilites. Great view. Plots are high up and exposed which is great for the view but it was very windy the night we stayed! Fabulous when the sun was shining though. Friendly staff. Site very clean and tidy, lots of bins.

Ik was blij met Tremendous views from this site. A friendly welcome. A relaxed, casual set up with no long list of rules. It was quiet. Wonderful dark skies - do bring a torch. Wifi worked fine. Bargain price and open to early arrivals and late departures. Recommend you approach via Eastgate in Hexham.

Ik was niet blij met I suspect the facilities would struggle if the site was busy but they coped for our stays.
