Riverview Caravan Park

Ik was blij met Been before and love the location with easy access to the river for paddling and swimming. New owners very responsive and keen to help everyone have a great stay. Great food from the Smokehouse. Great entertainment and friendly atmosphere in the ClubHouse - we will be back!

Ik was niet blij met New owners have been left with a lot of maintenance to do on the site - wishing you both well with it all - you will soon have it up to your standards!

Ik was niet blij met None of these fact will stop us returning but…
The pool was freezing, not just cold but FREEZING.
No restaurant/bar on site (we were unfortunate that the new owners had only just taken over the day before but it wasn’t advertised that it was closed and we then had to drive out to buy food.

Ik was blij met Good size pods and facilities, fantastic location and quiet area. Most of the staff we talked to were friendly. Easy check in and check out process

Ik was niet blij met Quite run down in areas, but new management have been working on refurbishment which is nice to see and look forward to a future visit to see changes.

Ik was blij met Camping pod was clean and tidy with all the basics that we needed. The price was good and the manager was friendly and helpful.

A lovely peaceful location with lots to do close by.
My son loved the swimming pool and playground.

Ik was niet blij met Booked this site just for 1 night with my daughter. Going by the reviews its sounded lovely.

Unfortunately not the case for us, we arrived early and waited for the current care takers to arrive, which was fine, lovely lady showed us to our pitch. Hardly anyone on the site, I was expecting it to be busy so we could socialise, unfortunately not. I asked when food was served to in the pub to be told its closed. We arrived with no food on board as we were literally away for one night and looking forward to good food and a couple of beers in the onsite pub.

My daughter wanted to go in the onsite pool, we were told that its absolutely freezing and that put her off from going in. We debated going to fetch some food to cook and stop for the night, but decided to go elsewhere

Felt abit sorry for the new staff as they hadn't been given any details to update pitch up or how long the pub would actually be shut for.

So if you're thinking of booking here, contact the site directly and see what the situation is first

Ik was blij met Lovely location, pub, pool and play area on site and very friendly staff.

Ik was niet blij met Pool advertised as heated but it wasn’t.
The toilets in the pub need fixing they didn’t flush properly and were constantly sounding like the cistern was filling up. The camping shower/toilet block needs updating. It was clean but the showers were cold and the doors to the toilets look to have been repaired several times and had holes which some had been filled with tissue so people couldn’t see in.
The accessible toilet and shower was ok but again cold showers and the door to get in and out was sticking and people got stuck.
Also the washing up area is literally a sink on some 2x2. No covering and not much room for your pots and pans.
Also it was right next to the elsan point which seen not very hygienic or pleasant if you were washing up and someone was emptying their loo.
Also we only found one water point on site which was a hosepipe between the sink and elsan and people were emptying the toilet and then using the hosepipe to clean their cassette followed by people filling up their water barrel which was not nice either.
It could also do with some signage as you enter the site of where to pull in with caravan with towing and where reception is etc.
It’s a lovely setting but it needs some polishing.

Ik was blij met Our visit started well , friendly hosts who made us feel really welcome. Nice indoor bar , great food - Buns on the run.

Ik was niet blij met The shower block/toilet were absolutley disgusting. Ladies had choice of 2 showers. 1 in darkness and the other with broken doors . No handsoap at sinks. Cobwebs everywhere. The outdoor sink for dishes... awful , the tap leaks underneath and sprays everywhere. Overflowing bins.
The site is on a path along a river which is lovely but has no security. I had my brand new basket stolen off my bike , (screwed on tightly with nuts and bolts btw) they even stole my dogs bowl! It absolutley ruined our
stay.

Ik was blij met It was cheap in a good location.

Ik was niet blij met The table in the pod was broken. The smoke alarm had no battery. I had to wait 45 minutes to recieve my keys to the pod (I arrived at the correct time). The showers had no hot water. The sinks in the bathroom had no soap. Contacted owner who did not respond. He eventually replied that he would sort the fire alarm and table the following day. He did not, and they remained broken for the remaining 2 days.

I sorry my team were booking in other clients and you did not have to wait 45 muinets

Yes you reported the table leg was broken at about 8pm in the everning

I contacted my house keeping manager who was at home with her family
She instantly returned to the site and met your self and offerd to move you to another pod

But you refused saying you would mend the table leg your self and every thing was ok

So to recieve this review and after we bent over backwards as thing happen but its hiw we resolve the problems

So for this very sorry

The food bt our amazing younge cheffs

The long walks down the river
And photos of our touring field ranked numbet 1 in Lincolnshire out of 345 others in the county

I hate lies and they must undersrand the damage they do to my hard working team
