Ik was blij met Very lovely spot . Nice and open with plenty of space . The owners are very nice . The village has milkshake machine with milk from the owners farm. (Very nice) you have a little village shop and 2 nice pubs .

Parking is easy and a peaceful place .
Only 5 or 6 spaces so no over crowding nice big pitches.

Toilet waste point water and electric hook up if want it .

Think we paid £35 for the night with hookup. It might be on the hi side but the village is lovely and the site is peaceful. Sometimes you pay more for the location and we was happy to do so on this lovely site .
No WiFi and signal for phones or TV not the best . Was ok for us as we have extra things to cover us for this issue .

We would definitely stay again if we need somewhere in the area again.

Also a dog friendly place

Ik was blij met Very well kept , clean and tidy , plenty of space around each pitch , with great walks nearby and short walk to local pubs ,would definitely stay again

Ik was blij met Small and perfectly formed. The site only has 5 pitches - all with ehu and water and immaculately kept. The views are wonderful and the village (5mins walk) is postcard pretty and very friendly. Dan was great when we contacted him and we saw him check the bibs and site. Only here for one night but we’ll definitely be back. There’s some lovely walks straight from the site and a pub in the village. There’s Church - St Giles - is well worth a visit too.
NOTE there is no loo or shower block or washing up facilities. So you’ll ned to be self sufficient. There is an immaculately kept Elsan point though.

Ik was blij met Liked everything about the site. Clean , tidy and well kept. Pitches were a good size and lovely scenery, and easy access to the site.People we met on site were very helpful and friendly . Lovely village pubs within easy reach and also Monsal trail on the doorstep for either walking or cycling. Will definitely be going back very soon. One of the best sites I have stayed on during my 30 odd years touring in our caravan.

Ik was blij met Only travelled from just down the road but have walked past over the past year or so watching the site being be developed by the Farmers and said we'll stay sometime. The most beautiful of spots right on the edge of the Village with stunning views up to Longstone Edge. If your self contained you'll want for nothing and the area is stunning. 2 Pubs in Great Longstone short walk to Little Longstone and Monsall Head and very close to the Monsall trail. What's not to like.

Ik was blij met Generous pitch sizes, in a quiet, well placed site. Fabulous location for accessing local.tourist destinations..
The waste and tap for each pitch was a bonus, but please dont make the mistake we did and fail to bring a waste hog thinking that the presence of a drain for each pitch makes these super pitches....they arent...as the waste would have to travel uphill.
That did not spoil our stay though, and we would certainly return.

Ik was blij met Simple, convenient and tidy, with great views and absolute silence at most times of the day.
Two pubs within close walking distance both of which do food.
The milk vending machine in the landlords farm supplies excellent milk,, you can also purchase eggs and milkshakes.
The Monsal trail passes the village where you can walk/cycle into Bakewell with ease.
Excellent 5G signal for phone and good TV signal.

Ik was niet blij met Directions to access the site would have been useful, as I came in through the village and negotiated passing the landlords farm where vehicles park on the road and could become chaos if you meet a tractor and trailer. There is a more suitable approach from the other direction.

Ik was blij met What a great site will definitely be going back. Very quiet and peaceful location and only a few minutes drive from the centre of Bakewell.
There are no facilities but has water and waste connections as well as a 16a power supply but you will need very long water pipes. Very well kept with spacious pitches and absolutely silent abeit the odd car passing on the lane. Phone and TV signal good. The last mile drive through the village is a bit tight and would recommend turning right up the single track lane as you come under the bridge to avoid the village. Just to note a minor thing is the waste water drain is slightly up hill so water wouldn't drain properly from the caravan so take a waste water barrel.
