Bungalow Buttercup
Mi è piaciuto The campsite is beautiful and well maintained. Buttercup cabin suited our family of 5 perfectly with the triple bunk bed and we all slept well. It was lovely to hear the sound of chickens in the morning and to see the lambs in the neighbouring field. The campsite owners were very friendly and recommended a lovely shaded riverside walk to me in the nearby town of Llanwrtyd which we did after check out.

Mi è piaciuto Very welcoming hosts and considerate campsite. Cute little forest for a wander. Fridge, kettle microwave. Modern and clean toilet and shower block. Big wheelbarrows to move from car park to tent!

Mi è piaciuto Nice owners, nice pitches. Good shower. Rustic and low key but that's what I like. Nice to watch the two geese who look to be best friends wandering around each evening! Nice to hear the dawn chorus too.

The ducks and geese are soon to be joined by some alpacas - more entertainment!
Owners were lovely, as were the animals. Lovely remote spot.

Clean facilities, great hospitality and lovely location

Mi è piaciuto This was a return visit to valley pods and it won’t be the last, great well kept accommodation, clean shower block and lovely dog friendly location, the location is perfect for a short break and some peace and quiet, or just resting up after a day in the hills with the dogs.
The lambs in the next field put on a great display or fun and frolics on a fallen tree,

From the middle of June onwards, our own geese and chickens will be joined by 3 alpacas - maybe not as energetic as young lambs, but still good fun!

a perfect stay for myself and two dogs to recharge for the next day

Mi è piaciuto Stayed in the daisy cabin, the bed was comfy and the cabin was clean, and cooked dinner over the firepit, all that was needed. On top of plenty of power sockets to recharge and very warm room during the night, the wash block, toilet and showers were very clean and well presented offering washing up liquid and scrubbies as an extra touch. Site was very welcoming of dogs and the hospitality was great
Non mi è piaciuto Would have like access to a mop as the site was a little muddy due to rain and some improvement works, and felt bad about leaving loads of muddy paw prints in the cabin

Mi è piaciuto Nice quiet site with v friendly owners. Lots of hot water. Easy to walk from site into Llanfammarch Wells or longer trails into countryside. Nice to have a table and firepit for each spot and firewood to buy.
Non mi è piaciuto Shower rooms were chilly. Early morning geese chorus wasn't expected!

The good news is that the shower rooms are having a heater installed in the next couple of weeks!
The bad news is that 2 of the geese are sitting on eggs, which makes the rest of them pretty vocal at odd times through the day, instead of just at the morning feed time.
There should be some pretty goslings soon though...!
