Campeggio tranquillo ed ecologico con piazzole spaziose e livellate, gestori cordiali e disponibili. Servizi essenziali ma puliti (WC compost, doccia fredda). Apprezzato per bellezza naturale, privacy e vicinanza alle attrazioni. Ideale per un'esperienza a contatto con la natura. Qualche lieve rumore dalla strada, docce senza acqua calda. Consigliato, si prevede il ritorno.

Don’t be afraid of the compost loos , it’s super clean and better than a portaloo , Charlie who we spoke with is very easy to chat and discuss any issues with , very accommodating and loved our stay on this site.

Mi è piaciuto Great back to basics camping, quiet and secluded but very close to a Greggs coffee in the morning.

Excellent site with spacious pitches and basic but good facilities.

Mi è piaciuto A lovely well kept, clean campsite with plenty of space. Welcoming hosts who were there to please. Conscious of the environment with eco products in the washing up area and shower. Toilets were clean and well looked after.

In case you are interested the loo paper is made by Naked Paper and is considered to be the most sustainable brand.

Plenty of space.
Both compost toilets that did not have a pungent smell.
All washing up, shower gel and shampoo provided.
Cold water shower.

Mi è piaciuto The location was smashing, we used it as a base for visiting Portsmouth dockyard but the beach, that was only a few minutes down the road, was a fantastic bonus.
The site was fantastic, flat, well laid out, simple, compost loos were clean and totally usable and the cold shower was great fun. It was quiet when we went but they have not crammed pitches in so even with more people LOTS of space for games and kids to run about. Really nice wooden climbing frame/slide on site too. Great communication before arrival. Met Charlie one of the owners on the first day, totally lovely and contactable if we needed anything (which we didn’t as it was all there)
I would definitely stay there again. Brilliant site ****

As you say it can be a great base for exploring Portsmouth. The sea has been very warm this year on the blue flag beach.

Mi è piaciuto Really enjoyed my 2 night stay at Croft Lane. Site exactly as advertised - loved the lean towards eco/ green camping, this is a wonderful initiative. Great communication prior to my stay and also touched base on arrival. Peaceful location with easy access to the Hayling Billy Coastal Path and surrounding areas. Will definitely be staying here again! :)

Mi è piaciuto Charlie was fantastic as always. So friendly and informative. Beautiful campsite. Perfect location and ample sized pitches. This campsite will be used year after year after year. I cannot recommend this campsite enough. Stunning views and breathtaking hosts. Thank you for your hospitality.
