Mi è piaciuto We went to sleep listening to the birds and woke listening to the birds , very peaceful and quiet, especially as there was only us and another van there .
Toilets & shower spotlessly clean .
Seascale beach 10 minutes drive away .

Dal gestore: We are in the Lake District National Park where signs need to be unobtusive. At the end of our lane there is a sign for Thornbank Farm, with a picture of cows and sheep on it and others from our milk co-op with the farm name on. and smaller ones for Harebeck Cottage. Smaller Directional signs are there for our glamping site.
If it is night time these may not be as easily seen as they are set back a little from the main road.

Mi è piaciuto The caravan was very cosy, with a little fan heater to keep it warm during an unseasonably cold June. The owners were friendly and lent me an air fryer from one of the other pods. This was alongside a kettle, mini fridge and toaster. There were lovely views from the caravan while having my breakfast.
The showers were hot and there were towels and a hair dryer in the bathroom. Very welcome after a soggy walking day! The owners kindly took my very wet boots into the house to dry overnight, which was wonderful.
It's also a cat lovers heaven! Very friendly with a bunch of tiny kittens running about.
Non mi è piaciuto It would have been extra helpful to have a bit more info in advance - that bedding is provided, so no need to bring your own and which appliances are in which caravan etc. just to help with food planning and packing.

Dal gestore: You made friends with Mopsy my favourite car she is friendly and quiet.
On the description on pitchup it does state bedding and towels are provided. It also states there is a light , toaster, kettle and minifridge in thr bowtop.
Descriptions for the Shepherds hut and Pod are seperate.
I will look onto this to ensure the site has the correct information displayed in the correct place.

We do not charge extra for dogs, extra people, nor for using our showers or hook ups.

Also farmyard sounds are not heard as pitches and glamping units are at the opposite end of the farmyard to the farm buildings. You may hear the odd bleat of a sheep or lowing of a cow as they pasture fields nearby.

Mi è piaciuto Really enjoyed our stay at Harebeck made personal by Brian and Cathryn bringing us the Wasdale Explorer Shuttle Bus timetables! Was able to climb Scafell and get back in time for a wonderful meal at the Campervan with gorgeous views. Close to Gosforth with local pubs and eateries. Facilities everything you needed.

Dal gestore: All our pitches and glamping units look out over our fields to the magnificent views of the fells beyond. Our site is right at the far end of our farmyard so farm noise is kept to a minimum. So gald you enjoyed your stay and thank you for leaving a review.
