Un bel sito tranquillo e curato con piazzole erbose ampie e pianeggianti. Comodo per York (senza auto) grazie ai bus vicini. Proprietari gentili e disponibili. Servizi essenziali e ingresso sicuro. Alcuni vorrebbero la doccia.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely quiet site, we loved watching the bunnies in the evening as the sun set. Location was perfect, bus stop close by to travel into York, lovely cafe just a short walk away that did great breakfasts, supermarket was also very close.
We didn’t meet the owners but they were helpful via text giving my helpful arrival information.
We could get drinking water on site as well as disposing of our grey water and chemical toilet.

Mi è piaciuto Peace and quiet and yet a short bus trip to York. Had two fantastic days and Gina was really helpful prior to our stay. Huge pitches.

Non mi è piaciuto Rabbits … our 2 dogs were going crazy as there were rabbits everywhere.

Along with the Park and Ride at the Shopping Outlet there is our fantastic local bus service which runs very regulary all day and is just a 2 minute walk from the site. The Sustran cycle Route 65 passes nearby - it is a lovely route into York via the Racecourse, the old Terry's Chocolate Factory and along the riverside - some lovely pubs and cafes along the route at Naburn, Bishopthorpe, Rowntrees Park and the riverside..you can literally cycle into York ending up at the famous Kings Arm on Kings Staith. Mi è piaciuto Clean tidy pitch. Quiet site on the edge of York. Very much in the countryside with the city a 5 min drive away.
Friendly helpful owners who ensured that they were available to help if need arose, but otherwise left you to it.
No facilities, but electric hook up was all we needed. Very relaxing for a city break.

Lots of rabbits running around the grass were fascinating to watch.
Would definitely stay again.

Mi è piaciuto Good size pitcher's all grass but very good drainage as it rained heavy all night and could not tell in the morning dry as a bone.Very friendly staff,good information explained about the bus routes and places to visit, easy to go to York and cheep . Also a shed with information leaflets,easy to get water and disposal point enjoyed it lovely little site.

Even in the winter months we can stay open until early December which is great for visitors to the famous York Christmas markets and Ice Skating. Hope we can welcome you another time.
