Campeggio tranquillo e curato in una fattoria attiva, offre ampi spazi, splendidi panorami e un'accoglienza calorosa. Servizi puliti e adeguati. Apprezzati bracieri, uova fresche e ottimo Wi-Fi. Ideale per passeggiate e osservare le stelle, anche se esposto al vento. Atmosfera silenziosa, ideale per il relax.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful site, quiet and clean facilities. Owner was very friendly and explained the site on arrival. Great location for walking and access to Thirsk. The available fire pits and wood were an added bonus. Looking forward to visiting again.

Mi è piaciuto Well maintained site with adequate facilities. Toilet and shower clean and washing up area tidy. Great views and walks around and about.
Non mi è piaciuto Being in an elevated position the site is exposed to the elements with no trees or bushes. It was windy and maybe a site in the valley would have been less so.
Unfortunately there was a group of loud and foul mouthed lads that seemed to be unsupervised as the site has a policy of no unaccompanied under 18s, they were 14 to 16s I would have guessed.

The group of local boys who we let stay with good faith have now been talked to and will not be allowed back without adult supervision.

Mi è piaciuto Very nice welcome and just what I was hoping for. Nice and remote but close enough to anything you might need with a short drive to Thirsk. A busy working farm and that adds to the experience. Good showers and I will definitely visit again.

Mi è piaciuto Very large pitch with facilities close by, the children loved the occasional chicken running round, and the sheep in the next field. The facilities were spot-on & it was great value for money. Nice quiet site in a pretty dark spot too if you like stargazing.
Non mi è piaciuto The cockerels woke the children earlier than I would have liked, but we were staying on a working farm so I should have anticipated an early start!

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful views, sitting out at night with a firepit looking at the stars which are amazing as there's so little light pollution, buying fresh eggs for breakfast... just everything. This was our second visit to the site as we'd discovered it as a stoppoff on the way back from Scotland and it was every bit as great as we hoped. Fantastic walking in the area and beautiful historic sites to visit such as Riveaux Abbey and Helmsley Castle (great walk between the two).
