Bradshaw Farm

Mi è piaciuto If you don’t mind basic facilities, which they have here then this is a beautiful peaceful spot.
We couldn’t get our tent pegs in due to the dry ground so spoke to the owner and she was lovely and helped us get settled into one of their pre pitched bell tents for just £20 extra for the weekend which was a game changer. She advised where to go for lovely walks too.
There was also an icecream van that came round the field daily, which we all loved!
Perfectly blissful spot, we can’t wait to return 😊

Mi è piaciuto The portaloos are kept clean and there are shower sheds. There are many great restaurants around and good daytime activities within an hour drive!

Mi è piaciuto I liked the site, view, people and animals. All good for the price with accommodating hosts.

Dal gestore: Well obviously lots of people do like the site - the grass round the bell tents is there to attract butterflies and small insects which is encouraged by the government just so you know!!! We don’t purport to be the Ritz of the campsites just a budget site. I object to your comments about toilets and shower, they are cleaned daily and if everyone did their bit after using them then that would make things nicer for everyone, unfortunately most of the people who use them don’t share my view. So sorry it’s not to your taste so we wont be seeing you again? Bye-bye

Mi è piaciuto The signs telling people to pick up their dog poo and put it in the bin.... followed by big signs telling campers there are no bins on site and to take rubbish away with you. They gave us a laugh. So do people take their dog poo home with them too???

Non mi è piaciuto Disguarded caravans burried in overgrown surroundings. No toilets or shower as advertised.
Couldn't even find the farm shop to check in..
We didn't stay. Looked around and then left.

Dal gestore: So anonymous- yes dog poo should be taken away! As should rubbish! Look at Pitchups terms. Disguarded caravans? Do you mean discarded? You are completely wrong - there is one van which has been standing for a while because the owner has moved certainly not ‘discarded’ and we choose not to mow around it until he comes to pick up. Send me your name and address and I will gladly refund. Why put such a ghastly review when you didn’t even come to talk to us. Toilets are portaloos as advertised and there is a small shower shed. Shop is over the road. Such negativity and fierce impulse to spout nastiness !!! Please look before you leap as they say, zip lips before you know things

Mi è piaciuto Close to wild camping really! Choose your own pitch and enjoy. I liked the relaxed pace, the walks in quiet farming area and the quirkiness of the site. Was met at check in with friendly greeting and would come again.

Mi è piaciuto Spent the weekend with the kids and some friends. I had a fabulous time. The host was very helpful. Traditional Camping at its best. The Tents were massive, Toilets...not the cleanest, but we were camping after all, and a wonderful shower -which exceeded my expectations. We had a BBQ and opportunity to roast marshmallows for the kids. I will definitely go back again before the school holidays end. Loved it.

Mi è piaciuto Very quiet. Easy check in and friendly staff in the farm shop. Plenty of room for the children to run around and play ball games.

Non mi è piaciuto Very very basic facilities. Portaloos had no running water. There was a shower on site but it appeared to be the warden's personal shower with soap and razor left behind which was off putting. No rubbish bins. Only one water point which at times was redirected to the warden's caravan so we couldn't use.

Dal gestore: We don’t purport to be the ritz of campsites, we are a budget site as your payment reflects - £22 for basic bell tents, £12 non electric. One water point is all that is needed. Apologies that one guest left razors and soap which has been removed. We do not have to provide rubbish bins. Sorry you didn’t have a nice time many more do!!!!!
