Holywell Bay Holiday Park

A aimé Location was excellent.
All basic services were catered for (albeit expensive)

N'a pas aimé Very expensive for everything.
Hardly any vegan options and mostly unavailable when there were.
Example, vegan breakfast was incomplete and staff said they couldn’t swap for anything due to stock taking. Ended up paying for something they didn’t have.
Pitch was basically a patch of muddy sand. It rained on the final night and it turned into a mud pit…shame.

A aimé Had the most amazing time at Holywell Bay holiday park! We would 100% stay here again! Beautiful site in the most amazing location, 10 min walk to the most magnificent beach with the best sand dunes, white sand and lots of caves to explore. A great coastal path in both directions with the most amazing views!!
A pub near the beach that sell food and drinks and decent prices! And another pub 5 min walk from the site. 15 min drive to Newquay.

N'a pas aimé Toilets/showers are a little outdated but they worked just the same.

A aimé Park dean . You know what you are getting . Location is great and Holywell bay is a very short walk and a must if you go here . Slide was great and we all had fun, there was pool toys they have there as well that the kids loved. Lifeguards were very friendly . Walks around the area are lovely too . WiFi was very poor and almost non existent at the touring area .

N'a pas aimé No showers at the swimming pool . Kids had to walk back very cold . Wrapped in towels . Showers and block were also dated and paint peeling ect that make it look dirtier than it is . Swimming pool opening times , 9-12.30 and then 2-4.15. Couldn’t always walk in - ideal to book but then it takes the spontaneity out of the holiday . Would have had music. Could have had music round the pool for atmosphere .

A aimé Site and toilets have had real effort directed to bring up to scratch still not where I would expect for the money Inpaid but would be me being pickey as popped to general poor standards, staff are friendly.

N'a pas aimé Other guests who were exceptionally antisocial driven by large quantities of alcohol being consumed around their kids were told them several occasions that they weren’t being served at the bar however managed to each time talk the management round to continue to serve them alcohol despite several significant situations that led to management intervention.

Nothing that the staff could really do about it appreciate that people have come down a long way … to kick people off the site is pretty harsh especially on the kids, however from what we witnessed I don’t think that the level of training nor security to enforce that level of action was available again I think a bit more proactivity with the consumption of alcohol in the recognition of guests that are likely to cause problems based on consumption of large quantities of alcohol around kids is needed.

A aimé Short walk to the beach - Sunset amazing
Camping pitches are nice and big.
Pool on site was clean.
Lovely small site

N'a pas aimé Pool - not enough loungers
Scoops - unorganised, poor young girl working there had half of items missing and took 1 hour to be served with only three people waiting in front of us! Dread to think what summer time will be like.
Paid for WiFi - don't bother that has zero signal too......no WiFi or phone signal, used site phone to contact someone...phone was off, so pretty pointless and thank god no emergency was occurring

A aimé Well kept site, Nice size grass pitch, close to beach and costal paths, great outdoor pool/slides bar/coffee shop on site, great for visiting local places, attractions
