A aimé Lovely people who were verry helpful and gave us lots of information about the local area!!!
The facilities were good, the camp sight was pretty and the area was lovely.

We are pleased that the information was useful for you as if you don't know the area it is surprising how many different things there are to do on the island and nearby.

A aimé Lovely host who came to greet us and tell us where everything was, including a list of pubs/ walks etc nearby and how to get to them.
Description absolutely accurate and with no booking the next day, allowed us to stay a bit extra - very grateful for that, so thank you.

Also loved the toilets being compost, the toilet paper being the most sustainable in the UK (who gives a crap) and provided shower bits and washing up bits as they're environmentally friendly to the stream - loved the sustainability - keep it up ☺️

Had a wonderful time in a very accommodating campsite - thank you again, will be back soon!

Réponse du gestionnaire : So pleased that you appreciated the environmental nature of the campsite. We use Faith in Nature products for the shower and Sesi for the washing up liquid which we buy from the Bulk shop on the island. I have used both Who gives a Crap and Naked Paper loo paper and alternate between them as love the charitable and sustainable ethos of WGAC but also love the very sustainable Naked Paper too.
I am pleased that the information sheet was helpful to help you take advantage of the island.
whenever no-one has booked a pitch for the following day we always allow campers to leave when they want.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for appreciating as you put it our basic campsite but really that is what we provide but we do try to make it as pleasant as possible with a few extra such as all of the sustainable products in the compost loo and, shower and the sink.
Some campers stay for a week or more so it is also suitable for a longer stay too.

A aimé Beautiful quiet countryside in a real farm with horses. Friendly staff.

N'a pas aimé I really wanted a warm shower. They had only cold water. Also £25 a bit dear for no services at all. No kitchen facilities, no hot shower.

I know you said you disliked the cold water shower and wanted a warm/hot shower and if this is the case I am really surprised that you booked our campsite as it clearly states in the description there is only cold water on site. Many people in the hot weather we are having, actually find the cold shower very refreshing and sorry you did not like it

I am sorry that you felt that the campsite was poor value and once again point out that our description makes clear what is on offer. Apologies that you were not able to appreciate this before you booked and arrived at the campsite.

A aimé Croft Lane Green is beautiful. The tents are only on one side so you can sit and watch the horses and the sunset with an uninterrupted view. There's plenty of space and trees to sit under.
The washing up sink and cold shower are under a gorgeous old willow tree. We stayed during a heatwave and the cold shower was extremely welcome!
Charlie and Peter are so welcoming and helpful. They gave us a sheet of tips for the island, including instructions for a lovely walk that takes you past the tearooms at Northney. They also told us how to get to the local farm shop that is in walking distance and sells all the food you could possibly need including eggs from the farm next door.
We had an absolutely lovely stay, thank you so much!

A aimé Basic non electric grass pitches with cold shower and drinking water. Close to West beach and Tesco Superstore. Owners were very kind to change our allocated pitch. We all had a great time.
