Ce camping est fortement recommandé pour sa propreté exceptionnelle, notamment les toilettes et douches modernes. Le personnel est toujours décrit comme amical et serviable. Les clients ont apprécié le bel emplacement, l'atmosphère paisible et les promenues pittoresques. Le Parc des sangliers voisin est un grand attrait, surtout pour les familles. Wifi et horaires de réception parfois limités.

A fun place to stay

A aimé Lovely little place to stay. Was nice and quiet and very family friendly. Staff were lovely to chat to. The Wild Boar Farm at the bottom of the hill was a really fun day out and good value for money. The toilets/showers were nice and modern and clean. The washing up area was good. I liked that you could choose your spot to pitch the tent and that there were little picnic benches available. Loved the fairy lights at night in the trees.
N'a pas aimé Not a lot of meat free or ready to eat food in the shop. The only reason I have noted this is because we really struggled to find something to eat for dinner (lack of organisation on my part) and a bbq wasn’t an option with the bad weather so ended up doing a 40 min round trip in the car to find food. Some little sandwiches or something would go down a treat.

A aimé Everything about this campsite was amazing, the owners were friendly and welcoming and the facilities were always clean and there was a small shop selling essentials.
Loved the fresh air and how peaceful it was at night and thoroughly loved watching the peacocks and hares early morning and evening.
We highly recommend this site and look forward to staying here again.

A aimé I can not say enough good things about my stay here at bowland escapes this weekend. I travelled on my own with my 9 year old son and camped for the very first time, and although I have nothing to compare it to, I already feel it can't be beaten. The staff were so nice and friendly, and also very accommodating and understanding with the length of my set up and wrap up (I smashed it though for a first timer!) Haha. The grounds were stunning with gorgeous walks and animal pens dotted about, the farm was so lovely, with our highlight being the baby meerkats 🥹. The onsite shower and toilet block were lovely and clean. We will be regulars from here on in. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️
