A aimé Great stay on a beautifully peaceful site.
Facilities were brilliant, good showers and wash-up points.
The hosts could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The site has plenty of mature trees that break up the pitches, provide an element of privacy / shade and a haven for the birds and wildlife in the area. Being surrounded by fields we often see red kites and buzzards flying overhead.

Where possible we try to give guests a choice of pitches when possible (not always possible at busy times) and the mature trees on site provide elements of shade and privacy throughout the site.

Our WIFI is bounced off the hills (no fibre optic options available in this area) and can at times be intermittent - particularly when there are a lot of guests trying to watch Wimbledon and the World Cup at the same time.
We always state that free WIFI may not be suitable for streaming particularly at busy times.

Réponse du gestionnaire : We at Greenway Touring and Glamping Park like to think that all ages (over 18 of course) are welcome and feel comfortable to stay with us at our small independent caravan, camping and glamping site situated just outside Craven Arms midway between Ludlow and Carding Mill Valley .
The beautiful Shropshire Hills provide miles of cycling, walking, sight seeing and many quaint market towns, National Trust and English Heritage properties to explore and discover.
There is plenty to do and see in the area and the many independent eateries offer much to delight your taste buds.
Thank you for commenting on our facilities and your recommendation to other guests looking to relax and unwind and enjoy the company of their partner, family members or friends.

A aimé Small. Quiet. Not crowded. Very Clean showers and toilets. Good communication. Really well situated but still quiet and rural.

Réponse du gestionnaire : We are a quiet, rural adults only site but shops, eateries and pubs are approximately 2 miles away in Craven Arms.
We are situated in the rolling Corvedale Hills - the farm fields provide an ever changing living landscape backdrop.
Our trees break up the pitches giving privacy, shade and provide somewhere for the wildlife to hide. We have a wide selection of birds living in the trees and the birdsong is glorious.
Whilst we are rural and Craven Arms is a functional town we are only 9 miles from the beautiful medieval town of Ludlow and in the other direction the dramatic / spectacular scenery of Carding Mill Valley / Long Mynd

A aimé Being able to walk straight from the site to trails and very quiet country lanes. Amenities were clean and well equipped. The general area is very peaceful and only a 5 minute drive to the supermarket

N'a pas aimé Main gripe is the gravel hard standing. It's road planing not gravel, very dusty and dirty and gets everywhere. Fine for roads and paths but definitely not my favourite for hard standing coverage. The grass pitches were definitely nicer . Maybe that's just the builder in me ! Also having to wait to see the owners just to get the wifi code is unnecessary. Just include it in the email confirmation! The road is very close so could could be noisy for some , didn't bother us as I quite like the sound of motorcycles .

Réponse du gestionnaire : We are glad that you found the local walks using public footpaths and quiet country lanes and found the amenities clean and well equipped.
The reason guests have to ask for the Wi-Fi code is so that we seen to be doing due diligence by making the guests aware that they cannot use it for anything illegal, immoral, indecent or to hack anybody's computer - we have to record their name so if anyone does mis use the Wi-Fi we know who was onsite and possibly using it.
Unlike pubs, cafes people where it is often displayed as people are constantly walking past - whereas guests often use the wi-fi in the privacy of their tent, caravan or glamping pod.
Unfortunately we are unable to use tarmac on our under the terms of our site license / planning permission.
The ground be it the hard standings or grass pitches is exceptional dry due to the lack of rain and the top surfaces are turning to dust.
If it had mentioned that the surface was an issue we would have transferred you to a grass pitch with electric if one was available.
The B4368 can be busy at times when we are being used as a diversion route due to road repairs on the A49 or a couple of through routes which have had sink holes appear.
The grass pitches are further away from the road.

We are a quiet peaceful adults only site midway between historic beautiful market town of Ludlow and the stunning dramatic scenery at Long Mynd / Carding Mill Valley.
Ironbridge, Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth are within 40 Minutes of us.
TV signal is not good however there is a "TV tree" that we can point out to guests to ensure their aerial is facing the right direction and if this fails we do have some exterior aerials for guests to borrow.
We will take on board your comments re the lights in the bathrooms and see if there is anything we can do e.g. higher wattage or Bulb colour.
We hope to see you again in the future.
