Greenway Touring and Glamping Park

Kedvelték Warm welcome from Brian, super clean facilities, ensuite showers! Its really quiet, although there's a road next to the site but its not busy most of the time. Being adults only makes it easy going and friendly. We parked up our campervan and had ample space for our 3m² awning. Washing up is outdoor but a very sheltered and well equipped area. Loads of tips for exploring the area and lots of stuff to borrow if you need it. WiFi was available but we didnt ask for it as we try to.minimise distractions ;) Love it here which is why it was our second visit. Weather was very wet but still had an enjoyable stay. Thanks Brian and Jane for a lovely time. We'll be back!

We try to make to ensure guests have access to information on things to do in the area by sending out as an attachment to the confirmation email, having an inspiration board at the washing up sinks and leaflets from the places themselves.
This part of the Shropshire Hills has plenty to explore and discover - Brian and I are always happy to have a chat if you still require more information or have any issues.
Our generous size pitches are broken up by mature trees giving guests an element of privacy and many species of birds a home.
Whilst we do provide free WI FI if the site is busy it may not be sufficent to stream films or sporting events.

Kezelői megjegyzés: Our adults only camping, caravanning and glamping site is located in the rolling Corvedale Hills which provide a lovely everchanging landscape as a back drop to the mature trees we have on site.
We are sorry about the "dirty" mophead in a shower room - the heads are cleaned and changed regularly but they do get dirtier when it is wet and have on occasion been borrowed to clean ground sheets. If this had been brought to our attention we have changed it immediately.

Kezelői megjegyzés: We find that being a small adults only, camping, caravanning and glamping site we have many regulars visiting us which creates a friendly vibe as they are always willing to help or talk to other guests. Many great friendships have been formed whilst staying with us.
Brian and I are always happy to talk to guests about what the area has to offer and where is good to eat or drink at whilst visiting particular areas like the medieval town of Ludlow. Just catch us when we are out and about on site or pop to the house or outside office - the curtains will be open if we are working out there.

Kedvelték Nice quiet site.The main toilets/ showers at entrance were great & everything supplied which is good. Facilities were always spotlessly clean, would recommend.

Nem kedvelték Toilets at furthest end of site were inadequate. Basically a capsule for slim people. Knees and head hitting the door when sat down & a sink you could barely wash your fingers in.

The 2 additional toilets at the camping end of the site are functional and were put up there for the convenience of guests not wishing to walk down to the main toilet block at night or in the rain. Guests have a choice of whether to use them or not.
The showers are in the main toilet block at the bottom of the site and are in "bathrooms" containing the shower, toilet and a wash basin . There are also additional individual toilets. Thank you for your kind words re these.

Kezelői megjegyzés: The washing up area has odds and ends of spare plates, bowls, cutlery, mugs. glasses etc. for people to borrow if they need extra or have left something at home.
The freezer contains ice blocks that can be rotated with guests own so there are always frozen blocks to help keep food and drinks cool.
There are books, magazines and DVDs that can be exchanged / borrowed by guests if wanted.
There is also a lot of information of places to visit whilst in the area for guests looking for inspiration.
We have individual toilets and some shower, toilet and sink combinations - these are cleaned / checked regularly - so thank you for mentioning them.

Kezelői megjegyzés: We are a quiet and peaceful adults only caravan, camping and glamping site set midway between the medieval town of Ludlow and Church Stretton / Long Mynd / Carding Mill Valley in the beautiful Shropshire Hills.
Guests can choose to stay on site and relax, maybe read a book in the day and sit by a chimenea with a fire in the evening watching darkness fall and the stars pop out (We are in an area of low light pollution so get some spectacular sunsets and starry skies)
Alternatively there are many quaint market towns, castles, National Trust or English Heritage properties to mooch around.
We are an ideal base to relax and rewind and / or explore the area and delight your taste buds at one of many independent eateries / pubs.

Kezelői megjegyzés: We are an ideal base for exploring and discovering what the Beautiful Shropshire Hills have to offer - midway between the medieval town of Ludlow and Church Stretton / Long Mynd / Carding Mill Valley. Not far from Ironbridge, Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock.
Alternatively just rest and relax on site - spend time with your partner / friend.
There are miles of walking and many places to walk your dog locally.
The pubs in the area are mainly dog friendly.
Two of the glamping pods are dog friendly and dogs are welcome on the touring pitches.

Kezelői megjegyzés: We are a small independent adult only camping and glamping site with noise kept to a minimum after 10.30pm as sound does carry particularly at night.
We do indeed have a "marvellous collection of conifers" throughout the site. They provide an element of privacy to the pitches, shade and are home to a wide selection of birds - bird song is regularly heard.
The B4368 can be busy and noisy at times particularly if it is being used as a diversion route but on the positive side it provides good access to the site and makes it easy to get to the A49 2 miles away.
We are glad that you found us a "good weekend retreat" and you had the opportunity to try out your new caravan.

Kezelői megjegyzés: The mature trees are beautiful and home to many types of birds including green finches and gold crests and the bird song can be lovely to listen to while you have a brew.
They also add elements of privacy and shade for our guests especially our 4 legged ones.
We are an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Shropshire Hills with Long Mynd / Carding Mill Valley and the dramatic scenery (miles of walking and cycling) and quaint market towns like Ludlow, Much Wenlock, Ironbridge, Bridgnorth to mooch a round.
The larger towns of Shrewsbury and Telford are approximately 25 miles away.

Kedvelték Pleasant welcome by Jane and Brian, who manage Greenway. They were willing to adapt to our needs, ie extra one man tent with our pod. Everything was there for cooking, washing and sleeping...apart from our own bedding of course. Dogs catered for but not children.

Nem kedvelték Overall clean and well maintained, apart from the odd loose tap and weird floating toilet roll dispensers! Wish there were more clothes hooks.

We will always try and place family / friends on adjacent pitches / glamping pods (if we know guests are together) - just let us know in advance and we will see what we can do.
The standard glamping pods have a 4ft (double) bed, small fridge, heater, kettle, plates, cups, bowls, cutlery inside.
There is a chimenea / BBQ and bistro set outside.
Guests have to provide their own bedding. (sheet, pillows & duvet in covers or sleeping bags) and towels.
We keep spares of cutlery, plates etc. above the washing up area. If you have forgotten anything just let us know and we will try to help.
Some of the toilet roll holders are not in a fixed position as different people have varying arm lengths and what suits one person may not suit another.
Clothes hooks that hang over the shower cubicles disappear on a regular basis. Each bathroom has at least one fixed hood and a towel rail and shower stool that can be moved to suit the individual using the bathroom.
