Me gustó It's difficult to rate this site, 2 stars is more of a reflection of there being no one on site to reinforce the site rules & keep the sparce facilities clean & replenished. Plenty of hot water & lovely views.
The actual pitch was large & on level ground.

No me gustó The listing said each pitch had picnic benches to use, ours was non existent, there were a few scattered around, I have a feeling that people had just taken them to suit themselves. Would work much better if they were labelled like the pitches to ensure they stayed where they were designated.
Facilities, or should I say lack of them. 2 toilets with tiny hand basins & 2 electric showers, 1 shower with room to take the children in with the ONLY sink appropriate for cleaning teeth, the other only fit for showering individually. Cleaning only happened once every 24 hours.
There was only 1 sink for washing dishes, this made for time wasting queueing most days to wash up, no bin in the washing up area, so nowhere to put food waste if necessary apart from the communal site bins.
The fridge available was a table top fridge, that was ridiculously small for a site of 30+ pitches, with a tiny freezer section to refreeze blocks for your cool box.
Some of the other campers did not respect the site rules, making noise into the early hours & with no one on site to address this when it was happening.
As adorable as the chickens were wandering around, finding they'd left poo around your tent when returning from a day out & having to clean up before the children could get out of the car wasn't something i looked forward to either!

Me gustó Friendly welcome. Location. Very clean site. Very clean toilet and shower area. Good size pitches. Honesty and integrity shown by the owner.

Me gustó Quiet, secluded, good + well maintained facilities, helpful manager/owner, great value for money.
Pitches were also well maintained.

No me gustó Showers had a tendency to flood when used consecutively without a gap.
Not a major problem.

Me gustó Great campsite for a relaxing break, relatively small so was nice and peaceful.
Toilets and facilities were clean.

Me gustó Just me and the dog again and this site is all we ask for.
It’s clean, friendly and safe.

No me gustó The roads around the campsite are narrow as are most roads on Anglesey. However, the speed of many drivers made me feel really unsafe when going out for the day.
I was nearly pushed off the road a number of times by drivers coming at me at 70mph, which the speed limit on these narrow ‘B’ roads allows.
It’s put me off ever going back.

Me gustó Lovely welcoming host, the toilets were cleaned on a daily basis, there is great entertainment for the kids with the horses and goats in their pens and the free roaming chickens, the showers were just right and the pitches were all perfectly manicured, all at a great price and very easy to find.

No me gustó The one big bin did start to reach overflow before we left but hopefully they were due emptying.

The signal for us on three mobile wasn't the best but that's not a big priority when camping!
