Me gustó: Nice quiet camp site, right next to the river.

No me gustó: It was a long walk to the facilities.

Me gustó: Lovely clean well looked after site. Nice separate dog walking field - there's a water station for the dogs which is a nice touch.
Generous pitch size.

No me gustó: Bit of a trek to the shower block from the pitches - not too troublesome for us as we have our own facilities - bit should imagine if you're camping could be a problem

Me gustó: This was our first time camping, so had no expectations. But found the site to be very clean pitches and thoughtout the whole site, spacious we had plenty of room and the staff/owners are very friendly and helpful. The pitch was level and we had no issues at all with the ground, electricity or water supplies. The park/ play area was a winner with the children, and the dog area a great touch! Lovely peaceful and quiet area.

No me gustó: The distance to the toilets and shower facilities. We’d definitely not factored in how far away they would be and thankfully brought camping toilets. I didn’t understand why they are away with the statics which would have them facilities already.

Also on the way in, if using a sat nav check your coming in off the main road that back road is dreadful lol.

Me gustó: Views, surroundings, nearby gentle river, birdsong, staff, dog friendly (separate runaround/off lead area).

No me gustó: More observation than dislike. Shower etc block bit of a trek from camping field and limited number of showers & sinks (1 of each). No problem for us though as visited midweek in late April outside of school holidays.

Me gustó: Fabulous well kept site, lovely wardens, very helpful, will definitely return.

No me gustó: Could do with more toilets and showers, we were ok in the caravan but if more than a couple of tents are there it would be a pain.

Me gustó: Very friendly welcome, and was able to get on the pitch abit earlier than 2

Me gustó: Plenty of open space, large grassy areas surrounded by trees.
The dog park was good to allow ours off lead exercise.
The park itself is very clean and very well maintained.

No me gustó: The toilet block and shower (single) is located in amongst the static caravans.
It’s a five minute walk from the grass touring pitches, more if you’ve mobility issues.
The kitchen is also there, meaning you have to carry your dishes to and from it.

Me gustó: Friendly and welcoming staff, clean site with well maintained facilities.

Ideal location for Welshpool and surrounding areas.

Great for children and areas for our dog.
