Me gustó Great place, with the river running alongside and a playground to play in. The camping grounds are quite flat and spacious, but most importantly drained well and stayed relatively dry, and not muddy, despite a lot of rain when we were there. Everywhere appeared well maintained and I didn't see much litter. The pub has a good, really social atmosphere and gives good value food. Staff and the hosts of the campsite were friendly.

No me gustó Toilet block is a fairly long trek from camping field and a little small with only 1 shower, 1 sink and two toilets. Strangely as this put it in the middle of the static caravans. Definite need for a portacabin or a compost toilet or something nearer to the camping field entrance. No shop on site.

Me gustó Nice, small roadside pub site. Toilet/shower block, water tap and bins near. Food in the pub was nice. Friendly staff (and dog). Little play area for kids. Good location, just off A522 and A50, and a quick drive to Alton towers and short drive to Dovedale /peak district.

No me gustó NOT dislikes from us, but things to keep in mind when booking as it may bother you: it is near a road and yes you can hear traffic but it as more like white noise to me /us. Shower block is a portacabin and was kept clean but a bit basic. Similarly the wash up area is a basic uncovered, sink area which is nice when the weather is dry (as it was for us).

Me gustó Pitches well maintained and easy access and large for a normal family tent and car. Facilities are well maintained. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Easy to get to shop, beach etc

No me gustó 10am check out seems slightly early. Theme park queues are crazy and they charge just to go in and watch you kids on the rides. Many children running around unattended (and even saw fighting) in the playground and arcades- signs say parental supervision but security and other staff don't seem to want to confront and enforce this.
