Em va agradar Friendly owners, very clean site, liked that it had a secure children's play park, a great breakfast van at weekends also the pub at weekends,
The owners were there on the field to meet & greet new arrivals and were happy to lend out bits of camping equipment if needed. Ie extention leads. We had a brilliant week there visiting local attractions.

The toilets were kept very clean but only 1 shower, 1 sink ( this was an issue when someone was washing or brushing teeth and you needed to wash your hands after using toilet ) there were only 2 toilets which were very busy at times, & were quite a walk away from the main touring field and with young children the walk there and back was continuous ...

Em va agradar It was a lovely place to stay. It is only 15 minutes from the town centre and you can reach most sights easily.
The wardens are great. They are ever relaxed and welcoming.

No em va agradar It smells a bit, and the facilities are 300 yards away from the camping ground which is not great. I believe the new wardens are looking into this, however!

The Henllan Pub was not our cup of tea, but good if you like social clubs that smell like 30 years of spilt beer!

Em va agradar The site is well maintained and the wardens were lovely and very helpful.
The static caravan owners were also very friendly all saying hello or waving from their caravans. Their is a little on site pub which offers simple meals and a van that does breakfast baps with a tea or coffee! Loved that we could get some chips from the pub to go with the food we were cooking at the tent. Note the pub is the other end of the park so no noise from the pub!
We also liked the book swap by the washing facilities

No em va agradar The toilet block is a distance away from the camping field in the middle of the static caravans. The walk to the toilet is not fun at 3am ! Needs more showers also as only 1 shower in the ladies and same in the men's.
Also the washing up facilities are at the toilet block which is not ideal carrying dirty dishes etc through the park to wash them up.

Em va agradar The site is beautiful and the 2 young people running it do all they can to make you welcome.

No em va agradar The camp site was full , a party of 30 people in 10 tents, another party of 12 in 2 tents plus us and a few other single tents and there are only 2 ladies toilets and 1 shower, my husband says it’s the same in the men’s. Also this toilet block is 300 meters away in the middle of all the static caravans which doesn’t make sense as they all have their own facilities.
The people who own thus site would do well to build a block of toilets and showers near the camping site and looking at thus area there does seem plenty of room for this.
Perhaps someone should check what camp sites need as a minimum requirement for toilets I’m sure it would be more than 2.
If new block built would use camp sites again.

Em va agradar The site itself was beautiful with lovely surrounding views of nature. Toilets were a little walk away but it was a pleasant walk next to the river and they were spotless. It was mainly a peaceful site and the workers were very polite. A great little park that kept our children entertained. The river is a short walk from camp and the children loved paddling and playing in it. The river was also peaceful and clean. Bins were close by. Check in was very smooth.

No em va agradar On our last night there was a large group of about 10 tents (more kept arriving each day) At the start they were considerate with noise, but on our last night it was anarchy. A neighbouring camper politely asked they to keep the noise down as it was past 11pm. Most of the group quietened apart from one loud mouth woman. She got very aggressive and was shouting all over the camp for well over an hour or so that she doesnt care and constantly swearing. She was clearly intoxicated. I had children with me and so did my sister. They couldn't get to sleep until gone 1am when it started to go quiet and the language that was used was not suitable for children. The site has signs which state it has a strict noise policy from 10.30pm until 8.30am. This was clearly not adhered to yet no workers came over at all to intervene. This really ruined our holiday and we left feeling very disappointed and angry that the site never stopped the behaviour. Such a shame as we would have given it 10 stars otherwise.

Del gerent: We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for the group in question. We had spoken to them ahead of their arrival to reiterate the site rules and with great assurances from the group, we allowed the booking to go ahead.

We are absolutely devastated that this happened to you all on that last evening, unfortunately we had no idea it happened. No one called the warden number or knocked on our door to inform us that evening, as we would have intervened immediately and asked the group to leave the following morning. We only found out from one of the other campers the following day, and then took immediate action.

We really hope to see you and your family again, following on from this experience we will be looking at changing group booking policy on this site going forward, and every member of the group in question has been flagged and banned from returning here again.

Em va agradar Beautiful location with friendly wardens and a lovely riverside walk with access directly from the site.

The bar on the edge of the campsite was a real bonus. Although it was only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, plus a few hours on Sunday lunchtime, the food was lovely and reasonably priced. The staff were welcoming, friendly and couldn’t have been nicer.

No em va agradar A few things to be aware of: there is only one shower cubicle, although the shower itself was really good. You’ll also need a long hook-up cable, ideally 25 metres or more.

There isn’t a shop on site or within easy walking distance for basic supplies, such as milk, so it’s worth making sure you have everything you need before arriving. The water at the pot-wash area was also cold, which made washing up less convenient.

We were lucky to have a pitch towards the side of the field, which gave us a good amount of privacy. However, some of the other campers and caravans were grouped together in the middle of the field, which offered less privacy.

Overall, these are just a few things to bear in mind when planning your stay.

Em va agradar What can I say, arrived to our campsite and was greeted by the warden who was very friendly and helpful. She shown us to our pitch and told us what was about and where things where... ok from the campsite to the toilet/shower block was a little walk but worth it very clean. The site itself is lovely the grounds are kept well really enjoyed our week there. Will definitely return.
