Me gustó A lovely peaceful sight, in a gorgeous setting. Tents are assigned a specific pitch which has plenty of space with a central grass part for children to play so can be seen at all times. Sea views and no traffic noise at all. The hosts were extremely helpful and lent us an extension lead and also jump started our car on the last day when it wouldn't start. They also provided tips for walks in the area and down to the dolphin watch point. We never waited for a shower as previous reviews, you can just time it around quieter times. Proximity to New Quay and the coastal path is also great as you can leave the car behind. Would 100% recommend :)

Me gustó Lovely campsite with well maintained amenities. Friendly owners felt welcome. Views from the pitches were incredible, nice sized pitches. Peaceful site. Lovely walk in to New Quay using the coastal path be sure to look out for Dolfins.

No me gustó I would like to leave a more positive feedback but unfortunately I cannot do that. It's a nice place but the owner is very rude with the customers, is watching you constantly and asked for extra money. He's not really a polite person.

Del administrador: Utter nonsense we just cannot understand the spitefulness of this review after we were so very generous to this family.
First off reviewer caused damage to our property by cutting pitch marker posts thus enlarging their pitch size and erecting his tent over 2 pitches. He also booked and paid for 2 adults and sneaked in an extra 6 of his children (3 of whom, we allege, were of adult ages!) We very reasonably (stupidly on hindsight!) allowed him to leave his tent up where it was as it was, by then, fully erected. We even allowed the 6 additional persons to stay despite this being totally against our terms and conditions of occupancy. Of course, we did quite rightly, ask for additional payment for the additional persons! Wow! how can he expect to get away with bringing 8 people and only pay for 2!! Throughout we were extremely calm and polite-he has only tried the ‘rude owner’ tactic as a previous reviewer used this as a negative despite being completely untrue! We are actually pensioners and the stress of any kind of confrontation is detrimental to our health thus we avoid potential aggravation wherever we can and are NEVER rude or hostile back despite any untrue claims designed specifically to damage our reputation.
We bent over backwards to accommodate this family despite this mans, hostility, absolute deceit by trying to obtain services by deception -he should truly be thanking us and not leaving this dreadful review.
When time for him to leave, he actually had the audacity to ask to stay for an additional night! If we were so bad why would he want to stay on? His review marks every point ad a 1 out of 10 yet he tries to give credence to his claims by tactically softening the review by saying, to begin with, nice site etc-he needs to make his mind up.
We feel really stupid and taken advantage of. In hindsight, we should have asked him to leave immediately as would have any other owner-we are just too kind!
Campsite owners beware! There is no way of blacklisting campers on this site but further may be available on request.

Me gustó Well kept basic campsite with great size pitches, modern facilities block and absolutely stunning views. Family friendly and within easy reach of the coast path. Only half an hours walk from the nearest pub and about 45 minutes walk out of New Quay and from the beach. We will be back to this campsite when returning to the area as it was perfect for a couple with a dog who love walking.

No me gustó Access road tight for vehicles .
Also very long way down to new quay if walking with small children or old people .
Shower ok went warm and cold .. remember to take coins to pay .

We are so sorry that you had some difficulty with the shower please always inform us of any issues whilst on site to allow us to rectify if necessary. Also-info for future potential visitors we carry lots of change if you need it as showers require 20p-£1 depending upon how long you use them.
Also to clarify for other potential visitors. New Quay itself is 5 minutes by car, Alternatively it takes us 25 minutes to walk the straight forward route, or 40
minutes via coastal path route.

Me gustó The views from the field are lovely. The facilities were great, always clean and I never had to wait or queue for the toilet or shower. More than happy to pay for showers, in fact, I think this was a great idea. Text before arrival was helpful with directions and payment before arrival was made as requested. The female site manager was very nice.

No me gustó We were very disappointed by how we were treated during our stay by the owner. Not knowing that charging our electric vehicle wasn’t allowed, we briefly plugged it in near our pitch. Without any prior warning or explanation, a man—who we later discovered was the owner—arrived in a vehicle, climbed over the fence, and angrily unplugged our car charger, even pulling it quite forcefully from the car as if intending to take it away. At the time, we didn’t know who he was, so this sudden and aggressive behaviour was quite shocking.
My husband approached him politely to ask what the issue was and was told that charging electric vehicles is not permitted and that this was stated in the rules. We have since checked both the rule sheet we were given and the website, and there is no mention of EV charging restrictions. My husband apologised sincerely, but we were still told that we could be removed from the site. This encounter truly ruined what had otherwise been a pleasant stay.
We were respectful guests throughout: we kept noise to a minimum, followed recycling guidelines, and ensured we left facilities clean after use. It was never our intention to break any rules or cause offence. Had we simply been informed politely, we would have unplugged the car immediately without issue.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but the tone and manner in which we were approached were unnecessary and left us feeling very unwelcome. I would strongly suggest that the owner clearly updates the rules and website to include any EV charging policies, to prevent future misunderstandings with other guests. Would have been a solid 10/10 if the owner wasn’t so rude.

The site owner is reknowned for being friendly and helpful to all of our guests and it is sad that you feel he was less than his usual self. Unfortunately, he discovered that you were charging your vehicle from our ehu point. There was no one in your tent at the time so he proceeded, quite rightly, to unplug the charging lead from our electricity supply. He then wound the lead up respectfully and placed it beside your car. Your husband then appeared from the next door tent and asked what he was doing! Owner explained that we do not permit charging of electric vehicles as we try to keep our ehu charges at a reasonable rate despite the enormous charges we have to pay for business rate electricity. He did state however, that you were welcome to stay as long as no further charging occurred. With all due respect, surely common sense tells, that when we receive just over £5 per night for electricity use, that more often than not does not cover the cost of customer use, we should not also have to bear the cost of fuelling your vehicle too! When customers using a diesel or petrol vehicle arrive they do not expect us to pay to fill their tanks! None the less thank you for staying with us and sorry we did not meet your expectations.

Me gustó The view was beautiful. Lovely big field. Playground for younger kids and area for dogs to exercise.
