Me gustó Warm welcome at the pub on arrival.
Very reasonable price but that reflected facilities.

No me gustó Noise of the road was quite bad until very late.
There was only one ladies toilet.
Washing up area wasn’t cleaned up, lots of very old used sponges just left there.

Me gustó As a location it was just what we needed, easy to book in pub and shown to pitch… when busy would recommend bringing food or booking in advance, local shop a very decent walk away and told pub fully booked when we got there..

No me gustó It was very busy but that was the season.. only comment is that it could do with an amenities upgrade if regularly busy, site packed and five in line for the shower.. given hot weather.. it might just be as fully booked.. they worked.. we were happy with that..

Me gustó Love the location and atmosphere of this site. Able to camp anywhere. Pub has friendly staff and delicious food. Dog friendly. Beautiful location for exploring area or just sitting watching the river.

Dog walking is limited to pub garden, around tents or a footpath across and down a busy road

Me gustó The staff in the pub were lovely and very helpful. Child friendly location with the playground made it great fun for the kids.

The pitches were a great size with enough room for large tents, camping chairs set out and we had the additional space for a car to park alongside our camper and awning.

No me gustó There is no direct route to the lake which lead to a short drive with the kids for a walk around. Although it’s not part of the direct land the opportunity for a walk was not available without a drive due to the busy road.

We stayed for two nights over the summer holidays, with 6 kids between us we were keen to ensure they did not cause a nuisance to other campers. However, there were a number of very noisy campers - particularly adults drinking and playing music past 11pm. A little bit of monitoring would have been helpful but maybe we were just unlucky on that particular night.

Me gustó The site was right to the pub and tue staff were friendly and helpful

No me gustó There was only 1 toilet in the ladies and the campsite was full. It was totally inadequate for the number of people on site. When the pub was open campers could access the toilets in the building.

The toilets were a major issue, with one for men and one for women. They were both clogged a couple of times, and the entire toilet block was dated, poorly maintained, and dirty.
Furthermore, there was no supervision from the owner, which made the campsite look like a parking lot for cars with a few tents in between after just one day.
The beer in the pub was decent, but the food was mediocre.

Me gustó A fabulous site, really welcoming owners who walk you to choose where you would like to pitch. Great area. Literally attached to there Pub/Restaurant which the food was amazing. Would definitely return. Had an extra area with a kettle and a toaster for anyone to use. Good value for money.

No me gustó Sadly for the size of the area, alas only one toilet for females to use so always a queue. Would improve immensely if they installed more toilets.
