Acampada salvaje en un camping tranquilo y espacioso. Disfruta de la naturaleza, nada en el embalse o haz paddleboard. Personal amable y hogueras. El pub cercano es genial. Me gustó Definitely a wild campsite! We had a great time here- the owners were very friendly and helpful. The reservoir was a great addition, despite the mud due to the long dry spell and then torrential rain, we loved swimming and paddle boarding. The pitches are generously sized and flexible. We bought logs for the fire, they were good quality.
It was quiet after 1030pm, and people seemed not to stir until about 8am which was good.
You can park right next to your tent.
No me gustó The chemical toilets were not great- there were far too few for the amount of people, and despite the owners cleaning them multiple times a day, they were a bit grim. No water in them, just hand sanitiser which was pretty horrible.
The showers are adequate (bucket with a shower head), they’re outdoors, cold water and meagre water but better than no showers!
The access road is clay so incredibly slippery when wet.
Only one place to dispose of rubbish- on the opposite campsite.

Me gustó Loved the site. The wild flower meadows, the bucket showers, the lakes, the wildlife, Lindsey and her son. The whole thing was heaven.
No me gustó None. If you're an owner of a gun shy dog then there are occasional clay pigeon shoots over the way, just something to know x

Me gustó We stayed in the Tennis wells.
Lovely scenery, kids had a fantastic 'wild time' - they loved the little woodlands with swings an the hammocks scattered around. The haybales in the middle of the field were also a hit.
Had a great time on the hired SUP. With water low due to the drought was quite muddy at the edges but that just added to the fun tbh.
Pub across the field was gorgeous.
Fantastic and friendly service. Fynn and Harry (I hope I have their names right) were particularly brilliant!
No me gustó The portaloo toilets and buckets showers were fine for a couple of days, but I think I would probably have liked a proper shower to stay longer than three nights (but that's just me - my boys didn't mind at all).

No me gustó The lack of fresh running water - a deal breaker for me sadly as it was a lovely site. Wasn't keen on the clay at the swimming lake either, but my son enjoyed it.

Me gustó This was an absolutely fabulous campsite, really friendly and helpful staff, they even brought me my new glasses that the Optician posted, they were fantastic! The site is so well run, I especially loved the bucket showers, an absolutely wonderful experience. The toilet block was perfect when we got there but in need of a good clean after a few days. The location is next level awesome, the access to swimming/paddleboarding was great, but I struggled with getting my footing on the way in/out - so maybe a jetty/path?
