Me gustó I have been here many times and it has always been great. As a solo female it feels safe. The facilities although dated are clean. Food on site tastes great and convenient for when you don’t want to cook. Plenty of space so no one is on top of each other. Cheap price unlike many sites

No me gustó Online says no rooftop box this is untrue I’ve only ever been in a tentbox. I feel this is to do with pitchup and not hever camping

Me gustó Very relaxed campsite, lovely open fields to pitch in, showers were great, toilet block was super clean.

Me gustó I never made it due to illness, but it was a repeat booking so no doubt it would have been just as good as begore

Me gustó The view from the pitch was lovely. The showers are very good and it was a perfect location for our national trust tours! The live entertainment was great too!

No me gustó The pitch was quite messy after apparently another camper had been there for a month. The toilets and washing facilities were also very basic. The ‘kerb’ appeal isn’t great but anyone we spoke to was very helpful.

Me gustó Lovely staff. Brilliant food shack, plenty of drinks both on draft and in stock! Hot showers and clean toilet / washing up block!

Me gustó Space ,views. Great hot showers. Enjoyed cooked breakfasts at the wagon and can recommend the coffee

No me gustó Shame unable to use camping stove by tent but appreciate current national fire alerts.
Would be good to have hot water for washing up beside the toilet block

Me gustó Lovely friendly atmosphere and great, reasonably priced, catering available. Quiet, especially during the week, and lots of wildlife (saw bats, owls, rabbits and foxes).

No me gustó Beware the very brazen fox and make sure all food is secured!

Me gustó Family feel, bbq zone, woods with rope swings, live music, wagon wheel food van, location, helpful lady (and good cook) in wagon wheel, play area for kids, books and toys available to borrow and helpful advice on where to go locally/takeaways etc. Had a good time and first experience of camping.

No me gustó Showers a bit hit and miss for temperature and water pressure. Soap not available at toilet sinks for a day. Told they were not happy about me overpaying due to number of guests staying on booking being reduced and said they would do something but then didn’t. Disappointing given they offered. Wasps were out of control, chased us everywhere and got stung!

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience with the numbers booked, however, our policy is to not refund within 1 week of your stay. I'm not sure who advised that we could offer a refund but we will make sure all staff are reminded of the refund policy. Also, sorry to hear about you getting stung. Our pest controller has been managing wasp and hornet nests when we find them.

Me gustó Awesome place with a nice balance of open space and a lovely open air bar and snack cabin. The staff were helpful and friendly and the toilets and showers were clean and well maintained. will defo be back again and have already recommended it to friends

Me gustó Meet & greet was super, friendly, easy efficient.
The field was great, lots of space. Toilets were clean, loads of toilet paper. Showers were fabulous, hot water, good water pressure. Kitchen sink was clean and plenty of hot water too.
Felt safe, gate locked at night.

No me gustó Lots of rubbish left all around the edge of the field. Felt an occasional litter pick would have been good. I picked up lots of wet wipes that had been thrown away around the edge, assuming someone couldn’t be bothered to walk to the loo.
Rather a lot beer bottles & lids thrown in the undergrowth but was visible due to it being so dry.
Also large bits of waste plastic the size of bin lids (you couldn’t miss them), rope and unidentifiable bits of rubbish strewed around the field, not left by campers, obviously the farms bits and bobs left laying around the field.

Our apologies that litter had been missed around the edge of the field. We have had a good litter pick last weekend to get rid of anything in the surrounding hedges and bushes. We will pass on your comments about farm bits and bobs to the farmer, however, the field itself remains clear of rubbish.
