Me gustó Quiet, convenient location for exploring the island… great for the dogs to be free as we had it pretty much to ourselves for the three nights. Good to have the shower and washing up station.. yes it’s sloped but able to park up no problem, it’s rustic basic camping but great value…

Me gustó Awesome campsite! Off-grid and really quiet, just what we were looking for. Lovely hot shower too :)

No me gustó The only thing to potentially add would be some hand soap at the sink. But sanitiser was provided in the toilets so all good.

Me gustó Back to basics. Great location. Hot shower. Lovely village shop a short drive. Would use this pop up again.

No me gustó When we arrived the 2 toilets were clean, we stayed 4 nights. Towards the end of our stay the loos had no toilet paper and one had run out of chemical. Both were very smelly!

Me gustó Lovely little rustic campsite and good mobile signal (Lebara). I stayed here whilst walking the IOW coast path (doing car/bus combination, although there is a bus stop right outside) and it suited me well. I enjoy peace and quiet when camping and tend to find that these rustic/basic type campsites attract people who enjoy the same. It was very peaceful and relaxing (it's next to a B road so there are some cars passing during the day). It had 2 portaloos and one hot water shower, plus a cold water washing station and all kept very clean. The owner was very friendly and came to clean and top up washing liquid etc. Easy to find a relatively flat area and could choose where to pitch which I like. Village shop 2 mins drive, had most things you would need, including healthy options and was open from about 7am till 7pm when I was there.

Shower was lovely and warm and great pressure.

Me gustó It's a short stay pitch, useful for a night or two max. The drinking water on site is the most useful thing.

No me gustó The pitch is small, very small and the field is bowl shape, camping only suitable around the edges. There is a hedge on three sides but the side near the road is open, which makes it quite noisy to traffic. And it has a sloping entrance which would be difficult for some vehicles especially if it gets damp. It has two showers but only one was currently working. The issue I had was on the last night, six cars arrived with 6 adults and 10 children staying in two tepee tents (that hold 4 in each) The parents spent the time drinking and the children ran riot until midnight, not the peaceful stay I was looking for. The site is just to small for such a large out of control crowd and you have no way of knowing who you are sharing the field with.

Del administrador: Hello, I’m so sorry you felt the site was too small. The site is 1.5 acres and we don’t have mapped out pitches and allow our guests to use as much space as needed without intruding on your neighbours.

The current entrance is on a slope yes, however, there is a second entrance that we can open should we get rain and the ground becomes slippery. You can see the gate to that entrance in one of your photos.

I’m so sorry about the noise. We do ask guests to be quieter after 10pm. Had you alerted us to this at the time we could have come out to ask them to keep noise levels down. Although we state that 4 people can stay in each on site bell tent, we cannot guarantee that people will adhere to this. Again if you had raised this as a safety concern at the time we could have managed that.

I’m sorry you didn’t have a peaceful stay and enjoy your time like the majority of our guests do.

Me gustó Love the fact that we had so much freedom in the field, the children could run up and down, riding their bikes. It was just perfect.
Very reasonably priced as well.

No me gustó The bolt on the shower room has not been fixed in properly. I got trapped in it. My husband had to come and rescue me.

No me gustó Nothing really - Not a fan of chemical toilets, but they were perfectly adequate and kept clean by the site owners.
