Me gustó Shirley was so lovely and helpful getting us set up at the site. We requested a quiet spot by the stream and she gave us a perfect pitch. Facilities were rustic and cleaned every morning. Felt close to wild camping but with everything you need.

Del administrador: Thank you for your review, glad you enjoyed the local walks & The Plough Hotel, which looks after our guests very well. The scenery as you walk to the Plough is fabulous, we often see deer down there & the bridge next to the ford is a lovely playground for children.
With regard to the narrow lanes, on your visit, the council were repairing a bridge,, which I am promised should be open in the next few weeks, this has made getting to us slightly more difficult, as the only diversion was along even narrower lanes, if you take your time and drive carefully, we hope you find the site worthy of the drive.

Me gustó Spent 2 nights here in a valley and the stay was great. Our family of 5 (3 teenage boys) enjoyed every moment of our time. This was our first camping experience and we loved it. The surroundings and views were amazing. We were allotted a compost toilet, which was not to our liking, but there were otget flushable toilets (common) which we could use and they were clean. We used the allotted shower though, which had nice and warm water. Shirley was quite helpful and attended to our requests when needed.
Overall a good camping experience. Will definitely return.

I am sorry we had a bridge closure, this has now been repaired and I have been assured the road will be open at the end of this week (10/8), which should make getting too & from the site much easier.

Me gustó Beautiful, quiet site. The kids loved splashing in the river, visiting the cows and all the open space to play. Very clean loos, decent shower and friendly owner who helped us getting gear to our pitch on arrival.

Me gustó The facilities were great here and we were kindly offered a secluded spot to stay. The grounds were very clean and other guests were very quiet. Would really recommend staying here!

Me gustó Loved it here – so peaceful. Perfect for a break from reality. Me and my boyfriend love camping, and this took away the stress of setting everything up. Wood provided too which was a lovely gesture. 100% will be returning.
