Me gustó: What a great relaxed site. Everything tidy, clean. Great shower block. Pick your own spot. Great dog walks around the site. The cafe on site was amazing, beautiful, helpful, great breakfasts. Very dog friendly. Great selection of shops on ground floor, farm shop, butchery. Plants. Clothes, jewellery. Everything you could need.

Me gustó: We planned to stay here for three nights, but unfortunately, caravan issues cut our visit short. Despite that, we had a lovely time and were really impressed with the site!

The layout is well thought out, with plenty of water points making it easy to top up. The toilets and showers are clean, though they are unisex, and with only two showers, timing matters if you want to avoid a wait.


A charming touch to the site is the orchard walk near the glamping tents—such a peaceful spot! Speaking of wonderful finds, the on-site craft market is a real treat. Bring your wallet because you *will* find something you can’t resist!

The café upstairs is a great option if you don’t feel like cooking, offering plenty of food choices to enjoy. And if you're into gardening, the nursery is a fascinating place to browse—some of the trees and shrubs are absolutely stunning (perhaps one day I’ll be able to afford them!).

All in all, a fantastic site with plenty to explore.

No me gustó: One thing to note—there’s no signage directing you around the back of the big barn. If you’re towing and unfamiliar with the layout, it can be a bit nerve-wracking, but rest assured, there’s plenty of space once you get there.

Me gustó: Lovely campsite with large pitches, very relaxed about where you park. Good facilities and a lovely farm shop on site with local produce, great value for money and nice to get the bus into Norwich.

No me gustó: Could do with a fold up shelf in showers to to save toiletry bag getting wet and mirrors in toilets for shaving and brushing teeth but not a biggy.

Me gustó: Peaceful and quiet. Large Pitch. Modern facilities. The owner and his daughter were very friendly. Fabulous on-site cafe and shops selling local fare.

Me gustó: Warm welcome on arrival. Very generous pitches. Excellent onsite cafe and craft shops. Deer grazing nearby in the mornings. clean and quite. easy access to Norwich city centre and Norfolk broads.

No me gustó: Free Wifi only works in the cafe.

Me gustó: Loved the surprise of a farmers market on the weekend we visited.
Everything you needed was there.
Have already recommended family visit.

No me gustó: Not a fan of communal toilets, but all very clean and easy to use.
Would also benefit from a bit of signage when you get there as already mentioned in a few other reviews.

Me gustó: Black barn farm is a great site, pitches good sizes, great facilities that are always clean. Lovely restaurant/cafe on site. Came last year aswell and will be back next year too.

Me gustó: This whole site was fantastic. Really easy to navigate and the young lady who greeted us gave us all the information we needed to get going. Being able to pick our own pitch was a really nice change, and having both water and electric on pitch was amazingly helpful.

The pitches themselves were large enough for our caravan, awning and large car, with room to spare on all side. Each pitch was hedged in so privacy was included. Added bonus - then grey water went straight into the hedges to promote less waste which I loved. They were freshly mowed when we arrived and nicely level, making it easy to set up. The pathways were also big enough to allow turning and maneuvering without issue.

The onsite toilets and showers were immaculate. There were 4 toilets (1 accessible) and 2 shower cubicles with enough room to move. As a plus size person, showers can sometimes be a bit restricting but theses had plenty of room! Water temperature and pressure was also great. The toilets were cleaned regularly throughout our stay.

The Black Farm Barn itself was also great! They are dog-friendly which our pooch loved as he got to say hello and explore. The shop had a great selection of local produce and the butcher looked incredible (we had already bought food but next time we will be trying the onsite butcher!). The opening hours were really nice too as it meant the site was quiet in the evenings.

The bins and waste area were also well maintained and conveniently located, making it easy to take care of. There is hidden lighting along the paths at night to help with navigating, but not so overpowering that it affected us in the caravan. The whole place was really well thought out and maintained.

Location wise it was perfect for us. A quick 10 minute drive into Wroxham or 15 into Norwich. The Broads and the coast were equally as easy to access. However, it's also tucked away enough to not get a huge amount of passing traffic so it remains quiet and the surrounding views were beautiful in the sunrise.

We can't wait to return!

No me gustó: There is next to no signal or WiFi towards the back of the pitches (on EE at least). The Barn does have free WiFi which is great if you are close enough.
This is just something to bear in mind!
