Me gustó A lot to like about this site and it's excellent value for money. Good sized gravel patch.Nice and leafy.

No me gustó Ugh! The toilets and showers. Filthy. When the site is so busy they really need cleaning more often. I would prefer to pay more for the site as it's generally worth more far than they are charging and have the facilities cleaned more often.

Me gustó Nice site, lovely pub and right next to the river Trent, which the kids loved as tried a little fishing. Ladies toilets and showers were nice and clean.

No me gustó The pub only serves food Thursday - Sunday, and on non food days opens at 3pm. Would have been nice to have a few snack options, even if just pre packed sandwiches/ sausage rolls or something to take away.
Though I didn’t see the gents toilets and showers, my sons said they weren’t nice and downright refused to shower in there. The children loved the play areas, though they are in need of serious update, the handle to the steps on the tree house/ slide is fastened on with tie wraps!

No me gustó No meals available on some nights at the pub. Fortunately an OK Diner down the road a bit.

Me gustó The kids playground, cleanliness of facilities and friendliness of Gary the Landlord, the beer was good too.

No me gustó Missed out with no food being available on Tuesdays.

Me gustó loved the pub with a cracking band on the saturday night, the host was informative and a great help when we arrived . the pub was lovely and the staff were polite . would go again

No me gustó toilets definitely need to be updated but where in working order , the male toilets where really smelly near the pool table , but remember this place was £21 with electric for the night so cant complain to much

Me gustó Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had forgotten cutlery and the happily loaned us two sets for our stay.

No me gustó The site was very busy when we arrived and there were only two showers and two toilets in both the ladies and gents facilities for the whole site. These facilities are in need of renovations to smarten them up. We expected noise with it being a pub site and the music on Sat night was good, but people leaving the pub and walking close to our pitch made far too much noise late at night once the pub had closed. We had booked for two nights, but left early as we spotted rats two pitches down from our pitch on the Sunday afternoon, we were pitch number 2. This was off putting and as we lived only an hour away we left.

Me gustó Don't understand what all the negative reviews were all about brilliant campsite atmosphere was great pub with entertainment what more could you ask for the couple running the place were very nice
As for the comments on the 🪰 Don't book a camp near a river definitely going back
