What customers say
This site gets props for its rural setting, great staff, and pub grub/fun. Beautiful river views and dog walks are a hit. Some washrooms need work, but others are clean. It can get busy and noisy during peak times, but it's seen as good value.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Lovely area, great fields accessible for dog walks. Lovely little play area for kids.
Disliked The only downside to this site is that landlady is really rather unwelcoming.
My friend ordered food that never came, so she chased it up, landlady seemed insistent it had been brought out, but it hadn’t as that was our food, maybe too busy and not enough staff? Rude to my brother in law also when he went inside to get vinegar for his food, asked where he was taking it? I’d have thought that was quite obvious.
Really let the weekend down, a smile goes a really long way.

Liked Food was nice in pub
Disliked Electric kept tripping not 16amp owner admitted it was a dodgy one. Squashed in very close to each other. Placed next to play ground equipment when in use not far from hitting the caravan and very old and rusty and made a loud squeaking noise when in use being most of the time very bad smell very off putting left a day earlier also knew about a live band on Saturday found it to be extremely loud

Wouldn't stay there again
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely walks along the river Pleasant bar staff
Pitch was perfect position sunrise to sunset
Disliked Toilets for just being refurbed come out of the toilet wash your hands and you have to walk into the shower block to dry them or you could come out of the toilet open the door cross contamination because you've just been to toilet wash your hands then dry them.
Some pictures were in the middle of the grass verge electric wires across the little Drive path so you have to be very very careful when walking along.
Other pictures relieving rubbish like baby wipes on the ground so they were blowing all over.
The gas bottles to heat the water for the outdoor kitchen was exposed to people kept turning it off so we had no hot water.
