What customers say
This welcoming, dog-friendly campsite sits in a beautiful rural spot by the River Trent. Guests loved the on-site pub's tasty food, good value, and live music. Staff were often described as friendly and pitches were roomy. While facilities are updated, some guests mentioned shower temps and cleanliness, especially in the men's washroom. The site can get busy and loud at peak times.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Quiet, beautiful surroundings, great pub, lovely welcoming people, good toilet and shower facilities
Disliked Only a lack of recent maintenance - toilet door locks won't close or are missing completely. The facilities buildings need an external repaint and the yard needs cleaning of debris

Way too busy
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Nothing I’m afraid!
Disliked Everyone was crammed in like sardines. It looked anything but peaceful like the reviews have stated.
I’m afraid I drove in and then straight out and booked another campsite as planned b. Crowded and noisy places aren’t for me. I can’t rate anything as I didn’t stay on for long enough.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Loved the site. It's so nice and quiet. Plenty of space to camp. And omg the pub is so cheap locals are really friendly. I know people have complained about the bathroom but I found them very clean but there were bugs but unfortunately next to the tent there's gonna be.
Disliked It's not a dislike but I wish the pub had longer hours
