Friendly country pub campsite, great value, lively atmosphere with live music. Dog-friendly riverside spot. Well-kept, spacious pitches. Outstanding pub food. Facilities clean, though men's toilets/showers need updating. Book ahead during busy times.

Sullen owner but lovely site at a reasonable price
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Great location by the river Trent with good walks along the river with the dog. Spacious pitches. Didn’t use facilities as Moho was self contained. Pub didn’t open until 3pm for the days we were staying (Tues and Wednesday) but stayed and paid for an extra night as told by the owner they were doing food on Thursday
Disliked Lady owner was very abrupt and stern. We paid for an extra night as told by her they were doing food. This turned out to be Pizza only which was served in a box. Not quite the romantic meal we expected. If she was friendly would have given it a “ten”. Everything else was perfect

Warm welcome and shown to pitch, pub was friendly and good prices for food and drink.
Disliked The male toilet block needed a bit of an update.
The tiles are getting removed the day we left ( this was mentioned when we signed in )

Liked It is a wonderful place to stay. Great pub, all bar staff were so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely visit again
Disliked When you work in hospitality and are dealing with the public, it is good to have good communication skills. Unfortunately, the female owner of the camp site was lacking in this. Very abrupt at times and made some guests feel uncomfortable. She needs to smile more and be more friendly towards the people who are paying to stay there. Instead, she appeared annoyed that she was serving food at 7pm. Also give us someone else’s food when we were sat outside, just looked at us as though it was our fault.
Hope this lady does take this on board as it is a lovely place to stay

Great site if you specifically want to enjoy the live music events.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely location. Clean facilities. Allocated pitches with plenty of space between. Friendly and helpful owner. Good value food at the pub (although waited over an hour from order to receiving at table). Amazing mature willow tree on site. Worth going to the pub just to see it. Very peaceful in the mornings before 7am. Lots of birds. Access to riverside walks directly from the site.
Disliked Would have liked to have known prior to booking that the pub hosted live music nights and that loud music from the pub would not stop until around 10:30 pm at night.
