Me gustó It’s a nice field and the check in process is good, bring some cash to get shower tokens!

The team running it seem nice too. Decent space in the field generally, quiet and away from major roads, not far from cool stuff in Forest of Dean area.

Has 3 toilets, 2 showers, and they are kept very clean. Also a good recycling area, field is cut and trimmed nicely, generally very well kept. It’s a bare basics campsite but it’s well arranged and thought out.

No me gustó Because the field is a on a slope, there’s only really space for around 15 pitches, and that depends how selfish people around you are. Everyone ends up on the top of the slope and then the rest of the field is empty, if you’re arriving late you may end up pitching on a steep slope.

Toilets and showers and clean and good but there’s only 3 toilets and 2 showers, unisex, so you feel a bit pressured when a queue starts in the evening. I think they really need like 2 more of each in the summer at least.

Might just be timing but there was a slightly bad smell around the toilet area when we visited. The block is all clean, but maybe some of the pipe work needed attention…

Me gustó Lovely campsite, plenty of space. We rode our bikes to the local pub which served lovely food and drinks. We’ve already recommended to friends!

Me gustó Small, well organised site with spacious loo and shower facilities which were kept very clean during our stay.

No me gustó Loos and shower facilities are unisex. We didn't have a problem with this but some people may not like it.

Me gustó My first stay at Beanhill and I was really impressed. It’s a lovely, peaceful site with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and a great place to come back to at the end of the day.

It was also perfect for staying with Oscar, with plenty of space and lovely countryside around us for walks.

A really enjoyable first stay, quiet, comfortable and exactly what I needed. I’d definitely be happy to stay here again.

Me gustó We had a great stay at the camp ! The toilets and showers were exceptionally clean, and the host was super helpful and friendly. Even though the area is a bit hilly, there’s plenty of space, and you can pitch your tent wherever you like. There are lots of drinking water stations around. Great location with plenty to see nearby—we were very satisfied!

Me gustó Good location, showers and toilets were good. Exactly as described and what we expected. Owners friendly and have a lovely dog! Lovely farm shop only 10 mins down the road with a great breakfast

No me gustó Taps on the field a bit difficult to find as people pitched up right next to them so a little awkward to get to, there is one by the main shower/toilet block tho so was able to use that

Me gustó Small site with spotless showers and toilets. Location is great for Forest of Dean and Wye Valley sightseeing. Dog friendly, which was important.

Me gustó You were able to park where you like.
Owners were friendly and accommodating.
Site owners left you to it. Amenities were very clean.
Freezer for ice packs and food and plenty of bins to recycled goods.

No me gustó Uuuuuhhhh the dog/s barking all day and all night and the following day. I am guessing there is some kind of outside dog kennels very nearby .
Not the fault of Beanhill farm. But it did ruin the peace .
