No me gustó: The toilets were not well maintained. Toilet roll was not available and the toilet was leaking, shower was unclean.

Me gustó: Friendly welcome, helped us part the caravan into our hardstanding space. On site 24/7 for any help required. Very peaceful and quiet, beautiful location. No issues with facilities. Would stay again & have recommended to friends with young baby.

No me gustó: Only downside is the drives very bumpy, suspect damaged with heavy rain fall

Me gustó: Nothing he didnt show his face all week

No me gustó: I was rushed into hospital on the 4th June so my friend rang and explained that we couldnt go and He asked if we could get our money back he was told that alot of people say that but we werent lying. I sent an email to Andymycock@icloud but havent heard a word, my friends who we were going with said that they Didnt see anyone it was empty i dd say we were only on a pension

Me gustó: We had a lovely quiet stay up till the last night when a group of noisy young men where in the field behind us ,but we would stay again

No me gustó: If there was 1 thing that could do with improvement its the track from the road very bumpy & lots of pot holes

Me gustó: Rural location, smartness of site, hot water in shower and rest room. Very quiet, access to local pubs. Farm animals around, but not on the site

Me gustó: Great site, clean, peaceful, adjacent field for our dog to run free, lots of animals in nearby fields. Close to Bakewell and all amenities.

Del administrador: Thank you for your feed back. Iam glad you enjoyed your stay. For anyone reading this review I must stress that all dogs should be kept on a lead at all time. There is no adjacent field for any dogs to run free on the campsite. This is stated on rules / conditions of the campsite.

Me gustó: Quiet & scenic site, toilets & shower facilities clean and the animals next to the site are great. Tent pitches were meant to be across the other field, but owner let us stay together. Very close to Buxton & Bakewell, so ideal if you’re visiting there!

Me gustó: How picturesque the site were and the farm animals you could look at.

No me gustó: Facilities didn't seem to be cleaned on a regular basis and there were 3 toilets and 1 shower for upto 25 pitches. The shower cubicle had a toilet inside so you're essentially down to 2 toilets for the whole site. The area to wash your pots didn't have any hot water so we had to wash our pots using cold water and we didn't use the shower so I can't say if it had hot water. The site managers way of dealing with things weren't best. But understandable it isn't his only job on the farm as he had farm duties to attend. We left early because we didn't feel welcomed and we're accused of pitching up on a different pitch which we hadn't, we followed instructions we received via text before arrival. I also recommend the site introduces a curfew like many other campsites so louder guests know when to quieten down.

Me gustó: Just got back from a couple of days here, we loved it. Nice quiet campsite the pitches were nice and big. 10-15 mins away from both Buxton and Bakewell. My son loved the animals on the farm. The toilets although basic were clean everytime I went to use them, the shower although not ideal served it's purpose. Hot water needed at the station to wash up but overall we had a great stay. Steve is also lovely hope to be back for a visit again next year 🙂

Me gustó: The location was beautiful.

No me gustó: The facilities were extremely basic. They decided to mow the site just as the sun came out and we were enjoying the peace!
