Me gustó Lovely big pitches. We chose little side paddock location. Lovely. Close to toilets and shop. Lots of bird life. Someplay equipment for children but maybe some more would be great

Me gustó Beautifully kept grounds, quick responses from staff for queries, well stocked shop, regularly cleaned toilets. We benefited from dry weather so extended our stay from 2 nights to 4. We came off peak time so enjoyed having much of the pitch to ourselves.

Seems to be a place for dog lovers mainly. We were the only ones without dogs. Most owners kept their dogs on a leash on the campsite and there is a great place for dogs to run off least outside the campsite.

No me gustó No up to date tourist information about local places to hike or walk. Some of the leaflets in the information hut looked that they’ve been there for a decade.

No me gustó Our lead only just reached for electric hook up. Would advise a longer than 15m lead on some pitches

Me gustó Lovely well kept spacious pitches, really friendly wardens available on arrival who communicated well and were very friendly and approachable. Lots of facilities and information. Well stocked shop.

Me gustó Brilliant site, perfect level large grass pitches. the site is set out so you can watch your kids play safely.
The washing facilities are immaculate and the on-site village shop is well stocked and really good value.
Fire pits are brilliant value and provide hours of camping fun to toast marshmallows 😋
The on-site wardens are wonderful people, Mandy organised a Easter egg hunt while we were staying which was brilliant fun for the kids.

No me gustó Limited local activities if travelling by foot.

Our wardens are fantastic and Graham and Mandy do so much for the kids and like to get the kids and parents playing together,

We do have limited local activities by foot many things are by car, we do have alot of footpaths and hiking to do around the area

Me gustó This campsite is phenomenal. We camped here for the Easter bank holiday weekend, celebrating both of my children’s birthdays. We had plenty of day visitors on the Sunday for the big party and the campsite were SO accommodating! They were flexible, relaxed, and supportive of our family celebrations. We couldn’t have asked for a better location to celebrate ! Thank you so much to Graham and his wife the park wardens. You guys were fabulous!! All facilities spotlessly clean. The site is so spacious. We will be back very soon!

Me gustó Grass pitches were ok location was good for us

No me gustó Showers were cleanish but water was cold or just warm door on the gents would not shut hand driers didn't work

Del administrador: Im sorry your stay wasnt to your liking, we do not normal have warm showers. We had had a problem with our electrics and it had tripped the showers which we hadnt realised till it had actually happened. The second block was then opened to accomadate this where the hot water was running freeley. With regards to the hand dryers someone had stolen the fuse out of them why anyone would want to do this is beyond our belief with regards to the door it has been fixed the door was forced open from the outside taking the lock off and a chunk of the door frame, this could have been a child locked in but noone had informed us this happened at the time.

Hopefully you will give us another chance

Our pitch was a good size to accommodate a large tent, gazebo and 2 cars.

Just as feedback in regards to firepits we do not provide grills on firepits as they are just for fires not to be cooked on hence not having a grill, we did hire bbqs once upon a time but found them not to be returned hygienically, so we changed this to just firepits, you can always use a disposable bbq and we do provide bricks to raise these off the ground if requested
