Gostou The site was manicured perfectly. It looks very smart and lovely flat even ground. We really enjoyed our time there.

Block 1 (our oldest block) has just been repainted. we do this every spring before the season begins and the toilets and showers are clean and maintained.
Block 2 (our newest block) is 5 years old and wasnt used for covid year as we had to shut down and is again cleaned and maintained, They are regularly serviced too
Sorry you didnt feel they were up to your standards

Gostou Good facilities that are always clean and warm , shop has everything you could need .Everyone is really friendly and helpful whenever we have been so no problems at all

Gostou Spacious pitch, owners are very friendly and welcoming, plenty of open space for children. Shower and toilet block regularly cleaned and plenty of toilet paper.

Não gostou Toilets being higher than usual and shower pressure a little low (not ideal for washing hair but fine for a wash) that said toilets and shower blocks were kept very clean.

Gostou Great pitch sizes, great location with airfield close by so see planes taking off, toilets and showers always clean and warm, wardens very friendly and chatty

Gostou Pitch sizes were ok - long but a little bit narrow - absolutely perfect for a normal tent. We had a corner plot which was ideal as we have a 5m bell tent and we would have struggled on any other plot.

The site was very clean, very helpful staff and it has a great shop on site.

Nice little park area for kids and as the tents are situated around the edge of the field it leaves a wide open area for kids to play.

Não gostou You needed to shower early (we showered between 7am and 7:30 am) to get hot water (I would have preferred the water slightly hotter but that might just be me). Hot water ran out after around 10:30am ish so we had to wash up and wash hands etc in Luke warm and cold water.

The site seems to allow groups which meant it was noisy. There was a birthday in one of the groups and they had a large speaker so the whole field could hear it (and at times the music was not ideal!). We were not close to the group but could hear it like we were a few tents away.

Having said that it was monitored by staff and the music was off by 10:30pm although it’s still not ideal to have to listen to other campers music - I guess that says more about those campers than the site!!

We love that we can have kids being kids and playing

Im afraid we had a problem with the pump and the thermostat in the toilet and shower block on the weekend you were staying we did rectify this as soon as possible and sorry that you experienced it

If you ever find the site too noisy please contact my wardens Graham and Mandy and they will get this sorted for you, yes it did say more about the campers, although we allow groups and music we do expect everyone to be respectful to each other

Gostou Good sized pitches with great facilities that were clean and warm. Onsite shop had everything you could need and everyone was really friendly.

Gostou Lovely spacious camping area, generous pitch size, excellent shop that sells everything! Dog friendly, clean showers and toilets, washing up area. Really nice owners as well.

Não gostou Sad havung to keep my dog chained up, would have loved him to run around, but i accept why they dont allow that.
