Liked Had all you required. Our site was peacful and was next to the stream. Toilets ect. were very clean and modern. Didn't use bar or restaurant so can't comment.
Disliked This is a large complex. The pool was small at high season. There was a group of two families who's children used the roadways on their electric scouters as a race track!!

Liked Everything (really should keep this quiet, it's that good). Unbelievable view of Lake Annacey only 30 steps to a private gate to the lake. Restaurants close by, had an Unbelievable meal at the one nearest to the campsite.
Disliked Pitches are small and when busy there isn't much space!! Not the best wifi.

Liked Very clean toilets and showers. Pitch sizes good enough room for an awning off your van. Swimming pool good if a bit small when busy. Nice little restaurant next to the pool. Had a meal one night okay.
Disliked Nothing really does what it says on the tin. We stayed at the peak of the heat wave (June 26) and our fridge kept going off. Could have something to do with plus 40° heat.

From the manager: Bonjour, Merci d'avoir partagé votre expérience au Camping Les Marguerites.

Liked Very well spaced pitches. Staff very helpful and spoke English. Really good swimming pool which was open much of the day. Really nice restaurant on site but “very “ French which wasn’t a bad thing. Very large site and would be very busy in summer. The toilet/showers are plenty.
Disliked Having to wait to be hooked up and disconnect form the electric as it was in locked cabinet.

From the manager: Good evening, Thank you for your advice. V We are sorry for our hook up for electricity. We welcome you from 9 am to 9 pm but when the office is closed for midday even you can choose already your pitch and enter in the campsite you can't be connected, it is possible only after 3 pm when the check-in is finished. When you are leaving if you do not want to wait, you just have to tell us the day before and we prepare it in order you can disconnect by yourself. We enjoy to welcome you again Best regards

Liked Good location and good views of the mountains. Everything you required and all very clean. Showers of a good temperature. Our pitch was very level, but not all were. 10 minute walk down to the lovely village. Coming back was uphill and took 20 minutes but worth it.

Liked Small riverside site and very quiet.
Disliked Pitches mostly under trees so no views. The site wasn’t large, good job as the toilets were inadequate. Both ladies and gents had only one toilet and two showers. One toilet was in a shower, I’ll let you work that out!!

Liked Extremely clean with well manicured pitches. Level grass pitch. Toilet, showers and washing up area very clean.
Disliked Having a drink with the couple on next pitch in the evening when the camp “police “ came round at 10.30 telling us to be quiet! We didn’t have any music on just 4 aged 50+ holiday makers enjoying a glass of wine.

From the manager: Thanks for taking the time to leave a review for your one night stay in early August. Glad you enjoyed your stay and liked our pitches and facilities. The quiet time issue is one that most sites find hard to manage and one that always manages to upset somebody once per season. We do state our quiet time is 10.30pm and we expect that those who wish to carry on socialising will do it in the comfort of their own accommodation. This is to prevent any disruption to neighbouring pitches and those in tents for whom the noise can carry in/out quite easily. We welcome everyone, young and old and have a walk around later in the evening to remind / ask everyone to quieten down by 10.30pm. This hopefully creates a quiet time for those eager to explore the next day whilst leaving those who prefer a later night to head inside, allowing loud voices and light sleepers to enjoy their holidays. Thanks for your feedback and once again it's always good for others to read about another great site where they can expect a quiet time by 10.30pm.
