What customers say
This campsite offers a peaceful, wooded setting near Lac du Der, with a beach and bike paths a short walk away. Guests highlight friendly staff, a nice pool, and good value. Pitches vary, some are small or uneven, and the ground can be hard for tent stakes. While many found facilities clean, some reviews mention dated or less well-maintained restrooms, with occasional issues regarding hot water and cleanliness. The restaurant gets mixed reviews.

Avoid if you’re in a tent with small children.
Powered grass and gravel campervan campsite (comfort)
Liked Welcome from the younger blonde lady was lovely and warm.
She was also in the pizzeria down the road which I would highly recommend.
Pool was lovely and clean
Disliked Service from the older lady was horrendous and rude. Totally disregarded my attempt to order drinks for the family. I don’t speak French but always try and I’m always very courteous and polite - worst treatment we have experienced in the 10 days camping across 6 different sites and areas.
The chap in the restaurant also made no attempt to engage and it was obvious they were having a conversation and me and the family in French which was very inappropriate. As a result, we purposely didn’t spend our money in the restaurant.
After arriving back from pizza, we found that our corner plot for a tent was surrounded by cabins of mostly young men who were obviously not campers…all drinking, smoking, walking round half naked, staring at my wife and daughter and playing their music loudly.
We are a very easy going family and don’t expect every site to the be the same and always take the rough with the smooth. However, this was not a welcoming atmosphere and I didn’t feel safe having my wife and daughter sleeping in an exposed tent surrounded by these people.
As a result, we made the decision to pack up and drive 2 hrs towards our next destination and book into a hotel.
We didn’t bother to raise our concerns because it was evident that the management in the restaurant were not focused on service or care for ALL campers.
Out of 6 locations we have visited this trip, this is the worst by a mile.

Lots of potential but needs to improve cleanliness of the facilities
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite (comfort)
Liked Great pitch and friendly welcome
Disliked The shower and toilets which were fairly new were in poor cleanliness.
There were a lot of people in a row who appeared to be brought in workers who were bused in and sat infant of their cabins drinking, which was intimidating.

Powered grass tent campsite (comfort)
Liked The proximity to the lake was good. The facilities were relatively clean.
Disliked I was placed on a pitch that was very inclined, and the earth was so hard that it was very difficult to put tent pegs in the ground. Not ideal for tunnel tents.
In the end it just about stood up, but if it had rained I think the whole thing would have collapsed.
This is not a quiet campsite, by any stretch.
Also bring your own toilet paper.
