Liked Lovely peaceful site on the edge of the Villiage, 10 mins walk from a lovely pub. The site hosts were friendly & helpful giving arrival instruction and info about the site.
We had a hard standing pitch which had electric and water. Some pitches are level, ours had a slight slope which was fine with our chocks. The facilities were basic but very clean & well maintained with plenty of hot water. The site is also close to access to The Cloud cycling trail, part of the national cycle network.
The site was lovely & quiet, you can hear planes taking off from East Midlands airport but they are not all the time so it wasn’t disturbing and there were no night flights.
Over all this is a lovely little adults only site that I would be very happy to stay at again.

Liked We love this site. This is the 3rd time we have stayed and love that it is now adults only. The host is very friendly & helpful and speaks excellent English. The site has a lovely well maintained swimming pool and a shaded area to sit near to the bar which also sells pizza (takeaway is available) between 6-8pm. The pitches are of a good size with electric & separated by bushes and lots of trees for shade. Since our last visit the bathroom facilities have been upgraded to a high standard and make a great edition to this lovely little site.
The site is a few minutes walk from the village that is very pretty & has one small shop & bar. The site is in a a very peaceful location. We highly recommend this site and will definitely visit again.

Liked Clean & well laid out site within walking distance (15-20 mins) of the town of Bourges. The bathroom facilities were functional but a little tired. The pitches were of a good size with hedges between some, hard standing pitches fitted 2 vehicles on each one but this was fine as the pitch size accommodated this & each pitch had electricity & water. Bourges is a lovely place to visit and this site is fine for an overnight stay.
Disliked Bathroom facilities a little tired.

Liked A nice site in a rural setting with some pitches having great views over the village of Domme. All pitches are of a good size & separated by hedges. The bathroom facilities are a little tired but functional & clean. It also has a lovely little swimming pool, a great asset for warmer days. We loved the onsite bar area & restaurant and the site hosts are friendly, helpful and made our stay very enjoyable.
Disliked The bins for the site are quite a walk from the site, most unusual not to have easy access to rubbish & recycling on the actual site.

Liked We stayed here for 1 night on our way home from France. The sites proximity to the euro tunnel & a few minutes drive off the M20 made it a great option for our overnight stay. The sites proximity is well laid out and the pitches are flat and well maintained as are the facilities. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The on site 3 sisters coffee shop is a great asset to the site, opening at 8am we had a great coffee & delicious pastry before our departure for our ongoing journey.
Disliked The pitches are all very open, no privacy, fine for an over night stay but we prefer pitches with hedges between them for longer stays.

YE4 powered grass campsite (four person)
Liked We loved this little site in a rural French setting. Our hosts, Simon & Cal were amazing, nothing was to much trouble, from bringing our breakfast order to our pitch to arranging a vets appointment for our pup as part of the rules for travel back to the UK. We chose this site because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed. The pitches are of a good size (ours had electric) and the facilities, whilst basic are very clean & well maintained. The option to have an evening meal on site is great and we took this option for 2 of our 4 nights. The 4 courses cooked by Cal and hosted by Simon were delicious and we recommend taking up this option during your stay. The onsite pool was also a great option for warm sunny days. This is a great little site in a great setting just outside of the village of Hautefort & we highly recommend a stay here; we would definitely stay here again if we return to this area in France.
Disliked Nothing, we had a great stay.

From the manager: ...and we loved hosting you ! Thank you for your very kind review...we are blushing from your lovely words :) It was our pleasure to look after you both (and Gustav of course !) and we're delighted that you enjoyed breakfast (to include a little extra for Gustav) and the personal service that we provide. We always try to offer those little extra things to make a guest's stay memorable and it really wasn't a problem arranging everything with the vet. We do hope to meet you again.

Liked We only stayed one night on our way from the Alps to the Dordogne. The site is in a very peaceful location next to a wood with great views across the valley from our pitch.
We loved the heated shower & toilet rooms, although the majority of the facilities are outside just under cover (which I guess is find when it’s high season & very warm)
Friendly host & the ability to order bread & pastries for breakfast. There is a bar, small restaurant & swimming pool, but we didn’t use this due to the inclement weather.

Liked Well maintained & quiet site (a bit of aircraft noise from the flight path of Bristol airport but it stops overnight) with generous grass & gravel hard stand in pitches.
A friendly, welcoming & helpful host
New & very clean toilets & showers.
A great little site for our stop over of 1 night on our journey to Cornwall.
Disliked Having to pay £1 for the showers, most other sites at this cost per night has the use of showers included in the price
Fabric Hand towels in the toilets that all the guests have to use, not sure this is very hygienic, would prefer a dryer or single use paper hand towels.

From the manager: Thanks for your review Chris, Sorry you felt the extra charge for showers was unfair but we have spent a great amount of money building new showers and developing the site so this money helps recoup some of the costs…plus it also stops misuse which has knock on effect for other users. Re towels we know it’s not ideal but we change them daily and cannot put driers in due to elec supply.. And I don’t want masses of paper towel to dispose of… as it’s a campsite I think people can bring own towel or shake hands if they don’t want to use them. Sorry it’s not ideal. Anyway- thanks for the review and enjoy your travels Seona B

Liked Great site, so glad we stayed here. The team, who gave us a lovely welcome and are really friendly & helpful. We had a free camp pitch with electric hook up on the upper terrace which gave a lovely view along with piece & quiet as we were away from the toilet block and all the static tents & cabins.
There are separate male & female facilities all well maintained and cleaned thoroughly everyday. The small on-site pool was also well maintained and the lovely bar (that also served food) is a great addition to the facilities as the site is approx 10min drive to the town of Aubagne.
The quiet after 10pm makes this site a great place to stay for access the the French south coast.
Disliked The mosquitos, nobody’s fault but make sure you have repellent & bite cream

Liked Fantastic site on the edge of a lovely village about a 10 minute walk to a huge lake which has a beach and a separate dog walking area. The pitches are a good size most with partial shade, a must when we were there as it was 30 degrees. The facilities are of excellent standard, well maintained and spotlessly clean.( remember flip flops as outdoor shoes are not allowed in the toilet & shower block) The hosts are friendly & helpful, this is a great site for an overnight stop like or us or equally as good for a longer stay as there are lots of water activities on the lake & lots of places to visit close by.

Liked We loved our stay here. The hard standing pitches are all flat and have electric & water. The modern facilities are clean & very well maintained as is all the site. We loved the walking paths around the site, great for dog owners as there is plenty of space to exercise them. The site is a five minute drive to Pershore and you can walk to the Crown pub in Peopleton via a public footpath, it wax s little muddy in places so remember your walking shoes. There is a little bit of road noise (the owners have planted thousands of trees around the site to combat this) but it did not detract from our lovely restful stay, even the sun shone for us. We loved this adult only site and will definitely be returning soon.

Liked Lovely friendly welcome from our hits and instructions regarding the site and our pitch. We had a hard standing pitch with electric hook up and water. Many if the pitches are on a gentle slope so chocks would be needed, we were lucky and had a flat pitch. The facilities are very well maintained and are underfloor heated.
The site is dog friendly and about a 10 min drive to Hartington which has a couple of lovely pubs a small village shop selling all the basics and a wonderful cheese shop. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this site for trips to the Peak District

Liked This campsite is on the hill just outside of Broadhaven with views of the sea (not all pitches, we were lucky)
The showers have recently been refurbished but the toilets are tired and could do with a makeover to match the showers. The site is a 15 minute walk from Broadhaven across a field and down a lane where there is a fab beach along with a bar, cafe and shop.
This site is great for a couple of nights stopover near a lovely beach and little resort.
Disliked The wind with being high up and there is little protection for the pitches
