Liked Excellent location. Friendly welcome and excellent facilities on site. The mobile pizza was a very welcome treat for my evening meal and the dogs loved the river walk.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked My second time of staying, years apart and still just as well kept, clean and welcoming as I remembered. Beautiful spot with a magical river walk on the doorstep and a fabulous jumping off point for most places in the Great Glen.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Stunning view. Incredibly peaceful. Perfectly placed for dog walks. Clean and well maintained facilities.
Mon-Fri stay. Had the field pretty much to myself. I actually struggled to pick a spot because I was spoiled for choice.
I quick hop over a stile and the dogs and I had a lovely woodland to walk in. A short stroll out of the gate and Exmoor opens up ahead of you.
Minehead is perfectly walkable, just bear in mind how steep the climb back up will be!
Great base for places like Porlock and Lynton/Lynmouth only a short drive away.
Simple but well maintained and clean showers and toilets.
Already planning my next stay.
Disliked If you’re precious about a perfectly level pitch this is not one for you.
