Camping pod (pet friendly, disabled friendly)
Liked I had to change my date for staying due to personal situation and the staff was so very helpful and got a new date to stay
On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed in a dog friendly accessible pod. Very clean and cosy. Comfortable beds. Great little kitchenette. Lovely hot shower. Every thing you need for your stay. We only had to take our towels. Site was very well kept. Allow tourers and camper vans and six tents. Within walking distance of Cayton.

Pheasant camping pod
Liked Very friendly welcome on arrival and helpful staff during the stay. Reception area has a small shop and coffee area. Stayed in Hare pod , touring and pods are set a fairly large square area with a kids play park in the middle. Not that busy during my stay. Facilities block , very clean , usual toilets, showers, pot wash, plenty of hot water. Grass areas in between pitches. Water tap close to pod. Nice views . Quite site. Outside picnic table next to pod. Pod was perfect for me and my trusty dog. Fixed double and single bed. Kitchen cupboard and worktop, very useful. Kettle, heater and fridge provided ( which I feel would be more user friendly if on a unit and not on the floor ). Bed was comfy. Good area of The Trossachs to stay and explore. Great bakery in Aberfoyle which was recommended by another guest. All round good stay.
Disliked Having to leave.

Camping pod
Liked Spent 3 nights in a pod on the site. Very warm friendly welcome and during my stay.Nice small site with toilet and shower block which was clean and loads of hot water, it's a work in progress at the moment but even being half done wasn't an issue. Dog field which is enclosed which was great for my dog especially at night not having to walk to far in the dark. The pod was clean and very cosy on an evening. There's a fixed seat/single bed unit and a shelving unit which is useful for storage stuff. Love the lights inside the pod which were mood lights... loads of different colours depending on yr mood. Good blind and door curtain which keeps the light out. Small porch area outside and a sensor light which is good at night. There's a stone area which you can put your BBQ on which was good and and a old cable holder for a table which was useful and quirky.
The pub is a very short walk a couple of mins it's fine if you walk on grass verge. Friendly place but didn't eat there. Local area is good for walking.

Camping pod
Liked The location is good with being only yards from the beach. Microwave etc in campers kitchen which is useful. Always plenty of hot water. Faculties were clean enough it's a campsite.
Disliked I stayed in a pod and out of four ceiling lights only two worked very low level which wasn't enough light. There was a table lamp which helped. The fire pit was full from the last people so that couldnt be used. Did call twice on phone and got no answer and never seen to be a warden around. The cushion seats are just enough to sit ( not suitable to use as a matress)on but were stained and zips broken. Overrall more attendion to detail is needed and it could have been a better stay and i have stayed in many pods and must say it was disappointing on standards and price.
