Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Beautifully peaceful site, lots of space, well behaved dogs off lead- my springer spaniel is only a pickle when tethered, so perfect for her. Staff delightful and welcoming. Love the 'no music' policy, thought we would miss not having a few tunes but helped us to fully unwind - honestly our favourite site by far.
Disliked Nothing at all.

Liked This campsite is second to none. The staff are positively delightful and among the friendliest and most accommodating we have come across in our 20 years of camping! The toilet and shower facilities are exceptionally well maintained and spacious. The shop at reception is well stocked for emergency provisions, beer and wine! Walking distance to the Gorge. Large pitches. Goats, sheep and pigs in nearby field.
Cheddar village and a tap room. Most impressive was our Springer spaniel was permitted off the lead at all times, she is only an annoyance when tethered. So many campsites don't allow this, so will definitely be returning next year with the children. Can't recommend highly enough!

Liked The indoor space is really lovely with lots of toys, games, chalk board etc. Thoroughly cleaned every day. The children loved it! The kitchen facilities are excellent, kettle, toaster, microwave which was great for heating babies feeds. The craft area and shop selling handmade products are in progress but will be amazing when up and running. Kym is an enthusiastic host, laid back and welcoming. We needed a plug to inflate airbeds and Kym allowed us use of the outside electric point.
