Powered grass campsite
Liked Lovely campsite, so close to the sea. Great toilet and shower block, plenty of cubicles. Sheltered washing up area, plenty of lighting. The campsite has a coded gate which made us feel more safe, we didn’t use the shop but looked well stocked. Food van outside the reception, smelt good but we didn’t use them.
Disliked We were told on arrival that only one toilet block was being used for our stay however when looking around there were another 2 blocks that people were using, it didn’t make any difference to us but just a miscommunication from staff.

Liked Good sized and level pitches, excellent facilities, with nice countryside walks close by. Lovely little village shop for top-ups within walking distance. Well lit at night with each pitch having a motion sensor light. Our electric hookup was right behind us so the wire wasn’t getting run over by cars.
The campsite is surrounded by fields so we saw a lot of wildlife such as deers and owls every day.
Disliked For the last 2 days, there wasn’t any toilet rolls in either cubicle, however we had our own. The hand dryer wasn’t very powerful but we had our own towels to dry our hands so not a huge problem.
All in all, it was a great campsite.

Primitive grass tent campsite (small, maximum 2-berth)
Liked Really good location for what we wanted, good facilities, toilets and showers were clean. The ground was soft and pitch was big and level! Staff were friendly and welcoming!
Only 9/10 because nothing is perfect!
Disliked Signal was abit hit and miss, bins were full but that’s out of the wardens control!
