Éperlecques, Pas-de-Calais, France
Power optional cement/asphalt RV campsite
Liked Close to Calais for return ferry just 30 mins
Clean facilities, quick service in the restaurant
Disliked The pitch we were on was a plastic grass grid which is great to protect the ground but it meant it was very difficult to level the motorhome up as the ramps slide on the surface before the tyres get grip, food wasn't great in the restaurant and there are no nearby restaurants for alternative options,

Bouafles, Eure, France
Power optional grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Well set up campsite, friendly staff, right on the river, large private pitches, very clean facilities with lots of games options for kids and a great little pizza kitchen for evenings
Disliked The only thing I would prefer but its not really a problem is centrally located washrooms, especially if the weather is less favorable, the village of Bouafles itself although pretty is void of anything, you have to traveling 5 mins by road, 45 mins by foot to the next town for restaurant and shop options, but these are not complaints we were prepared its just to help people with their research.

Gourdon, Lot, France
Powered grass campsite
Liked We were only due to stay with a motorhome for 2 days but extended to 4
The family who run the camp were very accommodating, and nothing was a problem for them
We enjoyed the bar and the food available also the proximity to the town of Gourdon with plenty of restaurants and a Saturday morning market
There are a couple of supermarkets nearby to
The pool and slide were great for the kids and so was the proximity to the lake with a tree top adventure park with zip lines, inflatable aqua park and paddle boards.
Facilities were clean and centrally located, a few were left locked which i assume is because we visited at the end of the season and there a fewer guests
The pitches were level and well spread out and well shaded by mature trees

Liked Good size pitches, polite and helpful staff, clean facilities,
The site is opposite a supermarket too which is really convenient, there's a good restaurant next to the supermarket also, the local town is very quiet with minimal facilities
