Liked Lovely scenic spot, good facilities, plenty of space. Friendly and helpful check in with good advice about getting into town and back. It is a fair walk down the hill to town (2 miles) but we got a taxi back from the cab rank in the high street which was easy to get and only a few pounds. Walking back up the hill would be a struggle unless you are exceptionally fit. I would definitely stay again.
Disliked Relocate the town half way up the hill.
I'm joking obviously.
I wouldn't change anything about the site.

From the manager: Thank you for posting a review and delighted you would recommend to friends and return. Next time you return the journey back up from the town may seem shorter :-)

Liked Efficient check in service.
Disliked The toilet and shower blocks were grim and like something from an austere bygone age. Brutalist and industrial in design and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Not a place to linger for long and felt dirty leaving the building. For a site charging £40 per night for an uneven grass pitch this was not acceptable. On an extended tour of the UK, this was the most we paid for a pitch anywhere and was easily the worst facilities experienced on the trip. The site need to up their game on this and I cannot recommend it to tourers.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely well kept site and peaceful. Facilities were good, communication excellent and just a short and pleasant walk into the village which has all the basic amenities, and bus stops into Bangor if you wish.
Disliked Directions to site left us a little confused and we went in circles a couple of times until we tracked it down. No major drama though.
