Liked Friendly approachable staff. Easy check in. Great location. Good size pitch. Spotless toilet and shower block. Sandpiper bar was superb. Food was good last year but improved even more so this year.

Liked Good clear signage from main road. Great location. Excellent communication. Really laidback vibe. Friendly staff and warm welcome. Terrific views. Spotless toilet & shower block. Great location for walks. Handy for local villages and Glossop shops and eateries. One tip : Good idea to bring cash on Tues/Weds when cafe closed, IF you need to pay any outstanding balance on your booking. There's a cashpoint in Hollingworth 5 minutes away and the Tesco Superstore 10 minutes away.

Liked Site nice and easy to find. Peter is an absolute gent. Warm welcome at Reception. Explained how everything works and took us round the facilities. Allowed us to choose a pitch. Spotless and well maintained. Honesty pod selling delicious goodies either card or cash. 2 toilets. Large shower. Great kitchenette with a microwave which was a godsend. Cannot fault the place. Peaceful, quality, secure. Good value for money. Used Redbridge P&R to go into Oxford. Great value at £2.70 return. 17 mins drive from the site. 20 minute drive to White Horse Hill (free parking for NT members). Cannot recommend highly enough.

Liked Wayne was such a great host from arrival to departure. Greeted us at the gate and made us feel extremely safe and secure. Clear explanation of site rules and amenities. Lovely little site within a beautiful scenic area. Judt birdsong in the morning and evening. Toilets and showers absolutely spotless. Indoor wash up area with dishwasher. Large pitches with plenty of room for privacy. Nice picnic benches in the middle of the park for alfresco dining. Electric rates are incredible. Very generous.

Liked Lovely well kept small site and easy to find straight off the A47. Good simple communication from owner and easy check in and out. So quiet at night in a safe secure location. Good quality pitch (No.5). Cute shepherds hut for toilets, showers and wash up. All spotlessly clean. Excellent wifi. Took a circular walk taking in Ingarsby medieval village. Muddy but fun. You must visit the Rose & Crown. Really friendly owners and staff. The food was quality with service to match. 3 screens showed cricket, football and rugby. Kids welcome. 30 minute drive to Rutland Water main csr park. All in all, Fox's Furrow is a superb site. Definitely recommend.

Liked Easy to find just off the M6. Lovely warm welcome from the warden. Little site but laid out superbly. Great little bar with pool table and TV room upstairs. Toilet block, showers and wash up excellent and clean.

Liked Liked immediately on arrival. First impression it was a beautifully small, well maintained site. Lovely helpful warden explained everything to us. Felt secure and cared for. Amazing food van on site "Jintys". Food was quality and fresh. Even served breakfast rolls and hit drinks. Spar shop less than 5 minutes walk away. Next door to very welcoming Balmacara hotel where we enjoyed a pint at the bar. Close to the loch and other amenities. On site showers, toilets, scullery were all spotless.

Liked Terrific welcome from very helpful warden Beautifully maintained site, quality. Industrial laundry machines amazing. Card payment, easy to use. Communal bothy was a blessing. Very busy but quiet site. Lovely walk to the gorgeous signposted from off the site. Incredible private heated toilet/shower block.

Liked "Cute" little site with the pitch under the trees. Busy but didn't feel overcrowded. Self checking easy. Good communication prior to arriving. Internal and additional toilets and shower block were spotless. Communal kitchen was lovely and very welcome. Table tennis and other games in the barn were a huge bonus. Sockets for phones and iPad and chill out sofas.

Disliked Apologies if we misunderstood "drying room". Expected a tumble dryer. Other than that, no complaints at all.

Liked Really warm welcome and easy check in. Warden really helpful in showing us pitch and facilities. Nice big pitch, no. 10 Quiet, well kept site. Toilet and shower block was quality, really clean and secure.

Liked Friendly, welcoming staff. Easy check in. Fabulous pitch (10) looking out to sea. Really quiet overnight with nothing but nature's sounds. Sandpiper bar was excellent facility. Food was delicious and a fair price. Plenty of sockets to charge two son's iPad and phones. Small but well stocked shop. Toilet and shower block well lit, and spotless.

Liked Lovely friendly owner, greeted very warmly. Peaceful despite being right on the A53 Easy access of Leek (You have to try Haregate Fish & Chips 5 minute drive from site) Good base for walking Tittesworth Reservoir and The Roaches. Pub 2 minute walk away Roaches Tea Room (30 mins walk) was lovely. Friendly staff and WOW the view. Pitch had loads of space/privacy Great value for money

Disliked Nothing, all good. We knew there were no showers as advertised. More than adequate, lovely getaway from it all.

Liked Pat, Chris (and Harris the dog) gave us such a warm welcome; such lovely hosts. Pat showed bus round and what was what. Easy check in and payment. Absolutely peaceful site, easy to find and lovely scenery. Electric grass pitch. Really tidy little site and whilst the toilet and shower block was small, it was spotless and well maintained. Scenic walk across the fields into Ashbourne was around 40 minutes and well worth it. Would return without question.

Liked Friendly staff from start to finish. Ease of check in. Fabulous, quiet location. Cafe food was unreal ! Full breakfast and Eggs Benedict Cooked to perfection. Cakes to die for. Such a selection. Anglers Rest pub half a mile away. Great walking close to Monsal Trail Bus stop No.65 nearby. Handy for Buxton or Bakewell.

Disliked Whilst the showers were out, we knew before we left and it was the first thing we were advised of on arrival so no complaints.
