Liked A fantastic site, we were welcomed soon as we arrived. The toilet and shower facilities were spotless. Great location for local towns and beaches. Walkers paradise also a great location for star gazing. Our dog miss Daisy loved the little river areas she could splash about in. Me and Phil put this campsite in our top 5 that will definitely come back to. A place to really unwind even with the company of the local hedgehogs

Liked Staff were welcoming. Local area was lovely to walk around. We had a flat pitch which was ideal as large amount of the camping area is on a slope.

Disliked We had to remove someone's black bags filled with rubbish which they had left by the hedge. Took it over to a single silver bin that was overflowing. On our last day I could not even find the bin to put our small amount of rubbish in. The shared toilets ran out of toilet roll late on friday night where campers started to use the hand towels. The toilet paper wasn't replaced until after 7pm Saturday which was asked by campers. Just checking on the bin waste and toilet areas daily and it would have got 10 stars.

Liked We had a lovely relaxed time. The pod was so comfortable, clean and tidy. The main shower room was perfect with hot water and was nice and tidy. The site was peaceful.The railway centre just a 10 min walk away. Old Towers we found along our which was lovely to look around and just up the road a pub to take a well earnt drink.

Disliked The small shower didn't work. So a lot of us sharing the main shower.

Liked Always enjoy coming here. Beautiful walks all the way round. Lovely local to pop in after a good stroll. We are always made to feel welcome. We will be back very soon as other places to check out.

Liked Firstly the welcome on arrival. How clean and well maintained campsite. We stayed in a pod and it was just perfect to relax. Only a short walk away to Cheddar gorge and all the amazing attractions. It was a perfect weekend get away.

Liked What a beautiful peaceful place. There is nothing more tranquil with cooking outside, staring at the stars when in bed. The yurt is beautifully laid out. Surrounded by nature. We couldn't fault it. So we have booked again for November so we can truly appreciate the warmth from the log burner. You want to get back to nature for a relax or reboot this is the place. The local pub just up the hill was welcoming and you must try the local cider.

Liked This campsite was amazing, the site is perfectly situated in the beautiful new forest. Facilities clean and tidy, plenty of places to pitch up. Having the lovely company of the horses, donkeys, cows and deer. We absolutely loved our stay here and this is definitely our number camping spot.

Liked This is our 3rd time here and we love it, a little camping ground with a clean toilet and shower room plus washing.area..and honestly the price you pay is a bargain and we've been to some charge more for less...The owners are so lovely and down to earth helpful when you need. Beautiful walks surrounding and the local pub 10min walk it lovely too. This place is perfect to rest and reboot.

Liked A really peaceful retreat with lots of beautiful walking places especially with our 2 pooches. Lovely local pub just a 5min walk away. Perfect for hikers we enjoyed just chilling after our walks surrounded by fruit trees.

Disliked It is defiantly ideal for tents and maybe campervans but not for a motorhome, we managed to find a sort of level ground but most of the area is very unlevel for a motorhome. Ideally the compost toilet could do with hand sanitizer as it is a good distant away from the tap that's only because I like to clean my hands after the loo especially a communal loo. we're lucky to have a area to wash up but for people in tents a basic shelter with a wash away underneath would be perfect. Our motorhome is just over the 6mtr and it was a tight squeeze to get around the corner through the gate, also a 3 point turn to get out of our park up so we didnt damage the apple trees. So a little tweak and it would be great off grid place to stay.

Liked Was a beautiful location, well presented campsite, we were very welcomed by the owner. Facilities in main block was clean and well maintained, showers nice and hot. Didn't use portable facilities so cannot comment. The camping area clean and tidy even with it being a family site close to pontins. Perfectly suited for walkers and cyclists too, we had some amazing walks through the forest and then down to the nation trust lakes even in the rain. We will defiantly come again for adventures out and check out the local pubs too. a perfect place to put your feet up and chill.

Disliked Nothing to dislike about the campsite as a lovely place and like we said we look forward to staying again. our first night there some campers felt it was ok to let their kids run wild screaming and shouting past 1am but that's down to the parents.

Liked What a beautiful place to come we will defiantly be back again. The lady who greeted us was so so lovely made us feel welcome also tye gentleman pop over and asked if we were ok. The forest wow we spent a good couple of hours walking around which is literally through a gate and still more to explore. Worth every penny to stay even though we were there for a weekend we felt recharged.

Liked Really lovely welcome and the son was so polite a credit to the campsite. Beautiful walks, even sat watching the deer run across the field with my cuppa ..perfect..clean facilities and heat ladies which was nice on a chilly morning Would defiantly come again

Liked Really beautiful place, owners very welcoming, the view as we were parked right in front of the lake

Disliked Sadly not really suitable for non fishing people, we booked as said woodland walks this took us less than 15mins. Looked forward to opening the back doors of our camper so we could sit and enjoy the lake view over a brew but neighbour decided to pitch his tent right behind our van to do a bit of fishing

From the manager: Thank you for your comments but we are a fishery as in the title so most of the people that book are anglers. Regarding the woodland walk you only did the one of them the other walk from the park takes at least 45 mins one way and you can walk to the pub.

Liked Paul was really lovely made us feel welcome, if we needed anything just ask. Toilets and shower area very clean. Peaceful and clean site. There is a veg barn(shop) just down the road such a lovely couple with lots of homemade produce. Pub and restaurant just around the corner. And around the corner is the amazing walks in the new forest. We are defiantly booking again for a long weekend this Christmas. Thank you Paul for letting us stay.
