Liked The loveliest campsite. Very friendly owners who have put a lot of thought into small touches - the gentleman saw my toddler colouring and brought him a large blackboard and chalks which he was thrilled with. Wonderfully quiet and peaceful, facilities are basic but clean and everything you need is there.
Disliked Just that we only stayed one night, not two!

Liked Great site - friendly and helpful staff, well laid out with plenty of space between pitches and beautiful views, bathrooms and wash up area very clean and well maintained. Park for children, and lots of quirky statues and ornaments around - my toddler was thrilled spotting them all. Perfect place for walking to Devils Bridge which was amazing, and a fab little cafe/shop on site too. On site WiFi too which was a tad hit and miss, but no issue really. We loved watching the red kites circling over
Disliked Nothing!

Liked Nice site well spaced out. We arrived later than planned so the reception/shop was closed but we called the number and someone was with us very quickly. Facilities were clean and well thought out - bit of a luxury as we usually camp at smaller sites with more basic showers! Nice play area for children, and some lovely walks from site
Disliked Not the sites fault but a lot of unsupervised children running around on bikes and in the park - some rude and left my toddler upset after being shoved at the park. Equally, I didn't raise this with anyone as we were just there for one night

Liked Wonderful site - owner was friendly and there when we arrived, and very accommodating when I had misunderstood something on booking. 5minute walk to the beach, and the site was quiet and well spaced out. Quite basic facilities but everything you need, fridge and washer available too. Seen some comments about the showers costing money - I spent 60p and had plenty of time, and the water pressure was great so no grumbling there!
Don't let the train put you off - it's from around 7am to 10pm so doesn't disturb sleep, and it was probably the highlight of our toddlers stay. Playarea just next to the hall too (and a very impressive crocheted dragon!)
Definitely recommend! And thank you for your advice on where to buy more gas, we got somw and you saved us a load of time.
Disliked The very smallest of niggles- no hot water in two of the toilets for hand washing. And personally I like a rubber squeeqie to clear the wet floor when using shared showers
