Morgana 2 bedroom mobile home
Liked The fact that the van was dog friendly was a major influence on us picking this site. The van was well set out and comfortable. The weather was great which helped with the general atmosphere around site. Easy to reach all of the island and parts of the North Wakes coast.Out of season, the bar was only open on Friday and Saturday evenings but was very welcoming.
Disliked A little bit untidy around the van which may put some people off. It coud have done with the weed growth being cut back, although the site had their own groundsman he didn't cater for the area around this van.

Am going to back to site for another overnight stay on way home.
Pleasant promenade walk up to town.
Disliked Tight access for longer MH's.
Quite expensive for one night stopovers, although within budget.

Power optional gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked We parked our MH in the large gravelled courtyard between the reception and outbuildings, close by the toilet and shower block which also housed the communal area and laundry. Fiona, and her son Adam, were extremely pleasant and Adam in particular helped us in showing us, and our dog Georgie, around the immediate vicinity, we were only staying for one night as part of a larger trip to Spain. The showers were the best I've experienced as of yet as a Motorhomer, although there were only 2 available in both the mens and womens facilities, which may prove difficult through busy periods. However, they were powerful and hot without the need to press any buttons to renew the water. 16 amp electric hook-up and water close to the pitch we were on was excellent and Fiona had an extension lead for those on the opposite side of the courtyard if required. The new swimming pool was under construction and should be ready soonish. All in all a well run site with good customer service. So much so, we booked a return stopover on our way home from Spain just before Easter.
Disliked A bit of a walk into town, approximately 40-45 mins should you wish to do it, but doable.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Well laid out pitches and kept very clean and tidy.
Water and waste bins readily available all around the park.
TV and Lounge available.
Kitchen open for campers to use to cook their own food with washing up facilities inside plus separate wash up in the block.
Campsite owner made himself visible and asked about our experience of the campsite and he was also involved with The Quiet Man tour as a guide and was very informative.
Access into Cong was within easy reach (about 1 mile away) and footpaths all the way.
Disliked No dog tie up point outside Reception, which when I pointed this out to the owner was added to his to do list.
