Lyme Regis, Dorset, England
Primitive grass tent campsite (large)
Liked Lovely site, it’s was a fairly large site for us but because of the way it’s laid out it feels private. The toilet block is modern, we mostly used the lower one. We had to walk up to the top block to freeze ice packs.
Yes, the showers are 20p but it wasn’t a problem, there is a count down so you know how long you’ve got left. I was worried about this before we arrived but it meant the showers weren’t busy and I never had to queue, even on bank holiday weekend.
The shop was well stocked and the wardens were friendly and helpful.
Disliked I didn’t dislike anything but less mobile people may struggle with the hilly site.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The location was great. There was a nice big, heated toilet block. The shop on site was great and there was also a pub/restaurant.
Disliked I would’ve liked to have had my own pitch number. We arrived quite late and we’re just told to find a space in the field. It was quite crowded with a lot of cars on site.
