Located in Jacksboro, Texas, in a unique nature environment, Hidden Lake Safari Ranch & RV Park is the perfect choice if you want to go on an adventure and enjoy the great outdoors.
Enjoy fishing in the 20-acre fishing lake, stocked with bass, catfish, perch and more (no license required) or book a guided wildlife tour in reception (extra charges apply). Even though the site is conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and local entertainment venues, there are many friendly deer and a variety of exotic wildlife roaming the park.
In addition, the campground has a playground, a laundry room with a full bathroom and small meeting area, with board games and a TV for video games. On request a volley ball net or badminton net can be set up.
Free wifi is also available and there is a country shop where you can buy essentials and local product.

The park is located 5 miles outside of Jacksboro, where you can find several attractions to visit as well as bars, shopping malls, and restaurants with all local specialties.
Explore the Fort Richardson Historic State Park, originally the largest fort in the nation and a key post in the struggle between the white man and the Indians, mainly Kiowa and Comanche from 1871 to 1874. The Fort will offer you a glimpse into the past of Texas, and it also includes annual events such as the “Battle for Fort Richardson”, a civil war re-enactment that takes place in November.
Visit the Jack County Museum, housed in one of the oldest houses in Jack County, and enjoy numerous artifacts related to early life in the area, as well as a vast collection of military exhibits, 4-H memorabilia, Jacksboro High School mementos, along with genealogical records.
If you are visiting in June/July, don't miss out the Jacksboro TNT Fest at Jacksboro Lake in Jacksboro, a traditional festival, held on the Saturday before July 4th, where you can enjoy good food, great music, and fireworks.
