- Rural site in woodland on the Laussac peninsula
- Direct access to a lake for swimming, fishing, canoeing and sailing
- Swimming pool, kids' pool, tennis court, miniature golf and restaurant
Camping la Source is in a wooded area on the Laussac peninsula, with direct access to Sarrans lake, a 35-kilometre-long artificial lake in the Aveyron region.
The calm lake is suitable for swimming and fishing, and guests can also moor boats for free or hire canoes, pedaloes and motorboats. Two footpaths lead up into the hills from the site to give great views over the lake, and there are several discovery trails in the local area, along which residents have designed themed walks with sculptures and other features.
Among the site's leisure facilities are a swimming pool with waterslide, a kids' pool, miniature golf, tennis court, pétanque court, playground, games room and a multisports pitch. Guests can buy food, including fresh bread and pastries, from the mini market, use a delivery service from the local butcher or eat at the restaurant/pizzeria, which has a large terrace with lake views.
A kids' club runs during the mornings in the summer months, and there's also a busy programme of entertainment for all the family, with activities such as sports tournaments, quizzes and board games nights. Once a week there's a chance to make the most of the area's dark skies with an astronomy evening.
Other amenities include a launderette with washing machine and tumble dryer, a washing-up area and a large toilet/shower block with baby bathroom.
