What customers say
This farm campsite offers a peaceful, rural escape, with its many animals being a major draw for guests, especially families. Hosts are consistently praised for their friendliness and welcoming nature. Facilities are basic but functional, with many appreciating the hot showers. While compost toilets are a unique experience, they fit the authentic farm setting. Highly recommended for its relaxed vibe, animal interactions, and great value.

Overall a great place to stay for a break away from a stressful life.
Power optional cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Peaceful, with a bit of farmyard noise and children playing.
A beautiful rural spot away from life’s bustle.
This is a family friendly site run by a delightful family who can’t do enough to help you settle in who clearly love animals with precious regard for our environment.
Shower block is great with lovely hot water and plenty of space.
Toilet are clean with the careful management of an Emu - yes the feathered big bird - who stands in her pen just outside the loo.
There is a hard standing for moterhomes/campers with electric access.
Disliked We did have a problem getting electricity, although they did do everything they could to help. Although we only stayed for one night so not a big issue.

Liked The animals were very sweet, highlights were some kittens/cats, a lamb who had free rein and chilled with us for a bit, the ostriches, a very cute dog called Sky, geese, peacocks, chickens and some bunnies! The family were all very lovely and welcoming and when they saw we were bikepacking brought us out a table and chairs to use which was so lovely of them, and very much appreciated!
You had a choice of where to set up and there was plenty of soft grass to choose from
We didn’t have children with us but others did and it was nice to see them playing with the animals and the owners children.
Not the best toilet/showers but they were warm and worked and we would stay again for the other parts.
Disliked The facilities aren’t maybe the standard of other campsites (rustic toilets and showers) but how often do you find an ostrich there?!

Ok for 1 night if desperate. Toilets ok but in a shed.

Poor value for money.
Power optional cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Cute animals.
Disliked Basically off street parking on a concrete slab. Avoid if you want electricity, water and basic facilities.

From the manager: Sorry, but it's not a car park, it's a hard surface area for parking vehicles with bags.
You have access to electricity, water, toilets and showers. What more could you need?

Disliked Rien
