Mi è piaciuto Peaceful, with a bit of farmyard noise and children playing.
A beautiful rural spot away from life’s bustle.
This is a family friendly site run by a delightful family who can’t do enough to help you settle in who clearly love animals with precious regard for our environment.
Shower block is great with lovely hot water and plenty of space.
Toilet are clean with the careful management of an Emu - yes the feathered big bird - who stands in her pen just outside the loo.
There is a hard standing for moterhomes/campers with electric access.

Non mi è piaciuto We did have a problem getting electricity, although they did do everything they could to help. Although we only stayed for one night so not a big issue.

Mi è piaciuto The campsite is in a truly remote spot. I was on a cycling holiday with four friends and I'd say it's off the beaten track for bikes. The setting is simple, but so peaceful. Audrey and her family were so friendly and helped with several small requests from our tired, hungry group. The open sided kitchen/dining facility had all we needed. Being able to order breakfast for the morning was great, and very reasonably priced. To wake in an idyllic spot and be served farm-fresh eggs, coffee and pastries! My friends and I were each charmed by different aspects, but all agreed it was our favourite night's camping.

Non mi è piaciuto The simple instructions for arrival made me slightly nervous since all other campsites sent a contract. But we arrived just after the requested arrival times and were met and welcomed without fuss. Whilst the nearest amenities are a short car drive away, it takes a lot longer by bike (of course). I'd only caution cyclists to either arrive with all the food they'll want for the evening, or be up for a (hilly) 5+ mile cycle to dinner.

Auf dem Bauernhof war alles sehr einfach, jedoch ausreichend.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely site , felt very welcome , peaceful, 2nd time I've used the site , lots of animals to look at , showers and toilets are fine. Ostriches are rather cool

Leur disponibilité, leur gentillesse, leur discrétion aussi.
L’environnement calme proposé avec le couché de soleil sur les champs alentours, les animaux etc…

Mi è piaciuto The animals were very sweet, highlights were some kittens/cats, a lamb who had free rein and chilled with us for a bit, the ostriches, a very cute dog called Sky, geese, peacocks, chickens and some bunnies! The family were all very lovely and welcoming and when they saw we were bikepacking brought us out a table and chairs to use which was so lovely of them, and very much appreciated!

You had a choice of where to set up and there was plenty of soft grass to choose from

We didn’t have children with us but others did and it was nice to see them playing with the animals and the owners children.

Not the best toilet/showers but they were warm and worked and we would stay again for the other parts.

Non mi è piaciuto The facilities aren’t maybe the standard of other campsites (rustic toilets and showers) but how often do you find an ostrich there?!
