in Brantôme is a small family-friendly campsite in the Dordogne region (near Perigueux and about 150km from Bordeaux).
The games area stretches across one hectare and has a swimming pool, two play areas, pétanque playing area, ping pong table, table football and a multisport net area for badminton, volleyball and other games. A snack bar is available and fresh bread is sold on site daily.
High season activities include wine tasting evenings and paella evenings.

About 19km away is St-Jean-de-Côle, listed as one of the Les Plus Beaux Villages de France. It has an eleventh century church, Marthonie castle, a scenic village square and covered walkways. In May it holds a popular flower festival and in the summer months it hosts numerous music shows in the old church.
